Pray for the Philippines. 🇵🇭

In times of political tension and uncertainty, we continue to pray for peace, wisdom, justice, and protection over our nation.

As we serve children, youth, and families, we are reminded that decisions made in our country deeply affect the most vulnerable in our communities.

May our leaders govern with integrity, and may every Filipino choose compassion, truth, and unity over hatred and division.

We continue to stand in prayer for a safer and more hopeful Philippines for the next generation.

Behind every part of this center slowly coming to life are hardworking hands that endured both the heat of the sun and the pouring rain.

To the construction workers who became part of building this dream with us, thank you. This center is not only built with concrete and steel, but with sacrifice, hard work, and heart.

As a small gesture of gratitude, we gave simple grocery tokens to remind them that their efforts are seen, valued, and appreciated.

Thank you for helping us create a place of hope, healing, and protection for the next generation.

Sometimes, it starts with simply showing up for one child, one family, one community at a time. 🤍

At Katig, we continue to believe that prevention, education, and compassion can change lives. Every conversation matters. Every safe space matters. Every act of love matters.

We may not see all the impact today, but we trust that seeds planted with purpose will grow in the right season.

Back to the Roots: A Story of Purpose and Calling

Sometimes, going back home is more than returning to a place. It is answering a calling.

I returned to my hometown with one desire in my heart: to give back to the community through service, especially by reaching families through Katig Missions.

Seeing the rising cases of child exploitation and abuse, many happening inside homes, broke my heart. I knew God was leading me to be part of the change by educating young people and families, helping them prevent these painful realities.

Poverty has also limited many children’s access to quality education, making the need for hope and support even greater.

In every challenge, faith gives me strength and reminds me that I am never alone. God continues to lead people to guide, protect, and support others toward a better life.

My prayer is simple: that no one loses hope.

I hold on to , Jeremiah 29:11:

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

This verse keeps me grounded and reminds me that serving others is part of the purpose God has placed in my life.
