BEYOND OUR DIFFERENCES: YOUTH FESTIVAL 2026

The International Youth Day Celebration with the theme “Different Contexts, Common Aspirations” was successfully held on August 15, 2026, at Dulag Dream Academy, Dulag, Leyte.

The activity, organized by FundLife International, brought young people together in a meaningful celebration of diversity, friendship, and shared hopes for a better future.

The Pag-Asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Dulag Federation proudly participated as a Co-Facilitator, with our dedicated PYAP Federation Officers actively contributing to the success of the celebration.

The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Dulag Federation successfully conducted a Feedbacking Session on August 8–9, 2026, at Sabang Surf Camp, Dulag, Leyte.

The session provided PYAP members an avenue to share their experiences, insights, and recommendations following the recently concluded 52nd PYAP Regional Celebration. The feedback gathered will help strengthen future activities and ensure that PYAP programs remain responsive to the needs of the youth.

The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Dulag Federation successfully held its Feedbacking Session, Stress Debriefing, and Federation Officers Election on August 8-9, 2026, at Sabang Surf Camp, Dulag, Leyte.

The morning session provided an opportunity for PYAP members and officers to reflect on the recently concluded 52nd PYAP Regional Celebration, an activity organized and hosted by the PYAP Dulag Chapter. The Feedbacking Session was facilitated by Mr. Fritz C. Pelicano of World Vision International, who guided the participants in sharing their experiences, insights, and recommendations to further improve future PYAP activities.

This was followed by a meaningful Stress Debriefing Session facilitated by Mr. Rodel Catapal, Provincial Youth Development Officer (PYDO). The session provided a safe and supportive space for participants to process their experiences, recognize the challenges encountered during the recent activity, and strengthen their well-being as youth leaders and volunteers.

In the afternoon, the PYAP Dulag Federation proceeded with the election of its new set of Federation Officers, marking another important chapter in the organization’s continuing commitment to youth participation, leadership, and service.

The successful implementation of this activity was made possible through the continued support and commitment of our Municipal Mayor Hon. Artates Agullo, whose dedication to youth development continues to provide opportunities for young people to actively participate, lead, and contribute to the community.

PYAP DULAG FEDERATION WELCOMES ITS NEW SET OF OFFICERS!

A new chapter begins for the Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) Dulag Federation as the organization successfully conducted its Federation Officers Election today, August 8, 2026, at Sabang Surf Camp, Dulag, Leyte.

Through a participatory and democratic election process, PYAP members exercised their voice and entrusted their confidence to a new set of leaders who will carry the organization forward with commitment, teamwork, and passion for youth empowerment.

On the concerns and clarifications on the results of the PYAP 2026 Ambassador and Ambassadress segment held during the recently concluded PYAP Anniversary Celebration.

The Pag-asa Youth Association of the Philippines (PYAP) – Dulag Chapter would like to formally address the concerns raised regarding the results of the PYAP 2026 Ambassador and Ambassadress, a segment conducted in connection with the recently concluded PYAP anniversary celebration.

After a thorough internal review, the organizing committee confirms that all scores, computations and judging procedures were thoroughly validated in accordance with the established guidelines and criteria of the competition. In the interest of transparency and accountability, the official tabulation sheet will be released alongside this statement for public reference.

The committee further clarifies that an earlier posted caption accompanying event photos contained an unintentional clerical error in the listing of one placement title. This constitutes a posting oversight and does not, in any manner, affect or alter the official and validated results. The corrected and final results are those reflected in the official tabulation sheet released herein, which shall serve as the sole authoritative reference for all official records.

The committee also acknowledges reports involving inappropriate post-event conduct, including unprofessional communications directed toward members of the organizing team and judging panel, as well as disrespectful behavior toward individuals involved in the event. PYAP reaffirms its strict commitment to uphold respect, integrity and sportsmanship at all times, and reiterates that all concerns must be raised strictly through proper, official and respectful channels.

We strongly discourage any actions or behavior that undermine the dignity of participants, organizers and officials. The committee emphasizes that it will not entertain or engage in any further public discussion, dispute, or commentary regarding this matter outside of official PYAP processes.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all candidates for their participation, dedication and contributions to the success of the event.
