And it's a wrap for our 2- day iTeachPeace Facilitator's Training & Orientation!

We started our day 2 with a creative recap where participants were able to recall what discussions transpired during the first day of the training.

Part of our morning session were the expression of how everyone feels through an emoji & sharing of everyone's expectations through the "Roses, Thorns & Buds."

During the afternoon session, Ms. Bernadette "Ate Badet" Fernandez, the Senior Peace Mission Leader of Teach Peace Build Peace Movement, discussed the traits of a Peace Facilitator & the what-nots of a Peace Facilitator.

To wrap our 2- day Orientation & Training, our iTeachPeace Facilitators have demonstrated the module for the Peace Heroes Camp.

The first day of the iTeachPeace Facilitators' Orientation & Training laid a strong foundation for our journey toward the implementation of the Peace Care Pathways Programme. The day began with an introduction of the TPBPM's consortium, the Peace Care Pathways Programme & GYAO.

The iTeachPeace Facilitators also took part in an engaging Getting to Know You (GTKY): My Personal User's Manual activity, learned the Peace Claps, Peace Jargons, UG5, and the Learning to Live Together Values, and gained a deeper understanding of the vital roles and responsibilities of an iTeachPeace Facilitator. Sessions on creating safe learning spaces, child safeguarding, and facilitator ethics reinforced our shared commitment to providing inclusive, respectful, and secure learning environments for every learner.

The afternoon featured Mindful Minutes, a comprehensive module walkthrough, and live demonstrations of the Day 1 sessions, allowing participants to become more familiar with the learning process and facilitation techniques.

The day concluded with meaningful reflections and a group photo, celebrating the beginning of a shared mission to empower young people as peacebuilders in their communities. Together, we continue to learn, lead, and inspire—one facilitator, one classroom, and one community at a time.

Peace Mission Update | Learning Conversations with Peace Partners!

Our hearts are full as we successfully conducted the series of Learning Conversations with our valued Peace Partners in preparation for the implementation of the PeaceCare Pathways Programme.

The conversations brought together our dedicated iTeach Peace Facilitators and Peace Heroes, creating a meaningful space to exchange experiences, strengthen partnerships, and deepen our shared commitment to building peaceful, resilient, and empowered communities.

As we move closer to the implementation of the PeaceCare Pathways Programme, we are inspired by the passion and commitment of our Peace Partners.

Peace Mission Update!

As part of our preparations for the implementation of the Peace Heroes Camps for Youth Resilience under the PeaceCare Pathways Programme, our team successfully conducted a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the teachers, parents, and students of Pagalongan National High School (Annex B), Wao, Lanao del Sur.

The FGD covers conflict & peace profiling of the school which will also serve as the baseline for the implementation of the project.

We can't wait to empower youth of the Pagalongan NHS as vicegerents for peace!
