As part of the PICPA Zamboanga Del Norte Chapter's Sectoral Visitation activity, last July 2026, we engaged with the Education Sector. Our Chapter President personally visited Saint Joseph College of Sindangan Inc. on July 14, and Andres Bonifacio College and St. Vincent College Inc. on July 31.

These visits reaffirm our commitment to bring the profession closer to the academe and to our future CPAs. Guided by the theme “EMPOWER”, the engagements focused on strengthening partnerships between PICPA and our schools. We had meaningful discussions on the needs of the academe and on the competencies needed to succeed in the CPA Licensure Examination and in the profession.

Through this initiative, we aim to uplift CPALE performance across the province. When we empower our educators and institutions, we empower the next generation of accountants.

Our heartfelt thanks to Saint Joseph College of Sindangan, Inc., Andres Bonifacio College, and St. Vincent College Inc. for the warm welcome and shared commitment. Let us continue to move forward together — to EMPOWER our learners, our schools, and our communities, one partnership at a time.

PICPA Zamboanga Del Norte will host the PICPA Accounting Quiz Bee as part of our Accountancy Week 2026 celebration. Brilliant JPIAns, accountancy students, from across Zamboanga del Norte will gather to test their knowledge, speed, and passion for the accounting profession.

In line with our theme "EMPOWER", this Quiz Bee aims to empower our future CPAs. It’s more than just a competition — it’s a venue to build confidence, sharpen critical thinking, and inspire excellence. Because when we empower students today, we build stronger, more competent professionals for tomorrow.

Good luck to all participants! May you answer with wisdom, compete with integrity, and grow through the experience. Let’s come together and witness minds get empowered, one question at a time.

We, the PICPA Zamboanga Del Norte, may have celebrated Accountancy Week a little late, but the spirit was never late.

We commenced our celebration by joining the Holy Mass at the Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral in Dipolog City last Sunday, July 26, 2026. It was a moment of thanksgiving, reflection, and unity as we start the week with faith and purpose.

This year’s theme is "EMPOWER". It reminds us that as CPAs and future CPAs, our role is not just to be empowered, but to empower others through integrity, service, and excellence in Academe, Public Practice, Commerce & Industry, and Government.

We were also glad to be joined by some of our JPIAns during the Mass. Their presence reminded us that the future of the profession is in good hands. Together, let’s continue to uplift, elevate, and empower.
