Finally! The Bantay Dagat community successfully held its National Children’s Month Celebration cm General Assembly 2024!🥳
The event brought together ChildFund families of Dipolog—parents, adults, youth, and children, on the 30th of November, at Barra Elementary School Gymnasium. The celebration notably served as the perfect opportunity to gather, discuss, and strengthen the connections, shared goals, and identity within our children, youth, and parents’ associations💚🤍.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support and the opportunity given to us by the staff of ChildFund Philippines under the leadership of their Program Manager, Ma'am Cherry Moreno .
We also express our sincere appreciation to the support of the City Government of Dipolog headed by Hon. Darel Dexter Uy, and the Local Government Unit of Barangay Barra, led by one of our special guests, Hon. Moman Apura. Our gratitude also extends to the Principal of Barra Elementary School, Ma'am Sharika Jumawan, and to our honored guest speakers, Hon. Marilou Calibo, and Mr. Remryan Rebotazo.
The event was anchored on this year's theme, “Break the Prevalence, End the Violence: Protecting Children, Creating a Safe Philippines."💪 Let’s continue to nurture the dreams of the younger generations, protect their rights, and create a safer, and more inclusive world for every child.
