Sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wika 2026 na may temang โ€œWikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon,โ€ muli nating ipinapaalala ang halaga ng wika bilang buhay na bahagi ng ating pagkakakilanlan.

Sa panahon kung kailan mabilis na umuunlad ang teknolohiya, paano natin mapananatiling buhay ang sariling atin? Sa pamamagitan ng paggamit nito. Sa pamamagitan ng paglikha. Sa pamamagitan ng pagkintal nito sa isip at puso ng bawat Pilipino.

Ang AI ay maaaring maging kasangkapan sa proseso ng paglikha. Ngunit sa likod ng bawat salita ay nararapat pa ring manaig ang sariling isip at pagkamalikhain ng tao. Sapagkat ang teknolohiya ay dapat maging katuwang lamang ng tao.

Hindi makakapagsakripisyo ng dugo't pawis si AI tulad ng ginagawa natin. Hindi nito kayang tumbasan ang oras, pagsisikap, karanasan, at puso na inilalagak ng tao sa bawat likha.

Gamitin natin ang AI nang wasto. Hayaan nating maging tulay ang teknolohiya sa yaman ng impormasyon, ngunit huwag nating hayaang malunod dito ang sariling tinig ng Pilipino.

Dahil ang wika ay hindi dapat lamang mabasa o marinig, dapat itong mamuhay sa isip, puso, at likha ng bawat Pilipino. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ
