Phi Omega Sigma (also known as the Philippine Organization of Students or POSANS) is a collegiate social-interest, semi-service fraternity and sorority in the Philippines.

​1. Founding and Origins
​Date & Location: August 24, 1968, at Central Mindanao University (CMU) in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon.
​Founders: Benedicto "Ben" Boiser and the late Teodulo "Teddy" Malagar.

​2. Core Identity & Philosophy
​Motto: "Tout comprendre c'est tout pardonner" ("To understand all is to forgive all").

​Symbol / Mascot: Dove.

​Core Values: While many collegiate organizations focus strictly on fellowship or service, POSANS members explicitly refer to themselves as "Wisdom Seekers" and emphasize the pursuit of wisdom alongside brotherhood and sisterhood.

​3. Expansion & Alumni Structure
​Over the decades, the organization expanded beyond its mother chapter at CMU to various colleges, universities, and regional chapters across the Philippines. To maintain lifelong fellowship among graduates, the Posans Alumni Association, Inc. (PAAI) was formally established and registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) under Reg. No. CN201227619, facilitating both local and international alumni chapters.
