Through this initiative, the chapter provided carefully cared-for 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬 to student healthcare professionals—tools that will accompany them throughout their learning, training, and future service. More than simply providing equipment, the activity represents the chapter’s commitment to supporting students as they take their first steps toward caring for others.

For 𝟐𝟖 years, the Alpha Phi Omega – Kappa Tau Chapter has carried the spirit of Leadership, Friendship, and Service, growing together as brothers and sisters while living out the values that make APO more than an organization—it is a commitment to serve. 💙💛

𝐎𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐢 𝐎𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚 – 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 celebrated its 𝟐𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 by extending the spirit of service to the community through its feeding program, entitled “𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞, 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞,” held at 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞, 𝐁𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐠, beginning at 𝟔:𝟎𝟎 𝐀𝐌.

As part of the celebration, the chapter prepared and served a hearty meal of 𝐛𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞, accompanied by 𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬. More than simply providing food, the activity created an opportunity to share warmth, joy, and fellowship with the community as the chapter marked another year of brotherhood and service.

As part of the initiative, the chapter distributed school supplies, slippers, and cleaning materials to support the children’s educational needs while helping provide a cleaner, safer, and more conducive learning environment.

This service project exemplifies the chapter’s dedication to living out the principles of Alpha Phi Omega. Beyond the distribution of bottled water, it was an expression of solidarity, hospitality, and genuine concern for the well-being of others. With hearts dedicated to service, 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐢 𝐎𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚 – 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 successfully conducted a School Supplies Distribution for the Grade 1 pupils of Sta. Isabel Elementary School on June 19, 2026.

More than the notebooks, pencils, and school materials shared, this activity was a reminder that every child deserves encouragement, support, and the opportunity to pursue their dreams through education.

Beyond providing essential school supplies to support the students’ educational journey, the chapter also shared moments of joy by treating the children to ice cream, bringing smiles to their faces and warmth to their hearts.

As brothers and sisters committed to the principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service, we believe that true service is not measured by the size of what we give, but by the sincerity and compassion with which it is shared. On April 2, 2026, Maundy Thursday, the Kappa Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega once again lived out its commitment to service by distributing free water to all who took part in the meaningful journey of “Katkat Sakripisyo” at Linabo, Barangay Lugdungan, Dipolog City.

As early as 6:00 AM, the brothers and sisters of Kappa Tau were already on the ground, driven by compassion and a genuine desire to serve. With every step taken by the participants under the heat of the sun, the chapter stood ready to offer refreshment, not only to ease physical thirst but also to uplift spirits along the way.

In a time of reflection, sacrifice, and faith, this simple act of giving became something far more profound. Each bottle of water shared symbolized kindness, unity, and the unwavering belief that service, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in someone’s journey.

Through moments like these, Kappa Tau continues to honor the values of leadership, friendship, and service, reminding everyone that true fulfillment is found in helping others. May this act inspire more hearts to serve selflessly and extend compassion wherever it is needed.

On March 28, 2026, in celebration of National Women’s Month, the Kappa Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega conducted a meaningful outreach service at the BJMP Female Dormitory in Lower Dicayas, Dipolog City.

The activity was dedicated to empowering and uplifting women deprived of liberty through the distribution of hygiene kits and snacks, as well as sharing heartwarming messages and insightful lectures. More than the material support, the chapter aimed to remind each woman of her worth, strength, and the hope that continues to live within her.

This initiative stands as a testament to the chapter’s commitment to service, compassion, and inclusivity—reaching out to those often overlooked and ensuring that no one is left behind.

The chapter also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the BJMP and its dedicated personnel for their warm accommodation, cooperation, and for allowing the Kappa Tau Chapter to carry out this service. Your support made this meaningful activity possible.

Special thanks as well to Sis. Melody Joy Lee for delivering a powerful self-awareness lecture, sharing inspiring messages, and bringing joy to the women through interactive games and dancing. Your energy and compassion truly made the experience more meaningful and memorable.

Indeed, even the simplest acts of kindness can spark courage, restore dignity, and inspire new beginnings.
