On April 2, 2026, Maundy Thursday, the Kappa Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega once again lived out its commitment to service by distributing free water to all who took part in the meaningful journey of “Katkat Sakripisyo” at Linabo, Barangay Lugdungan, Dipolog City.

As early as 6:00 AM, the brothers and sisters of Kappa Tau were already on the ground, driven by compassion and a genuine desire to serve. With every step taken by the participants under the heat of the sun, the chapter stood ready to offer refreshment, not only to ease physical thirst but also to uplift spirits along the way.

In a time of reflection, sacrifice, and faith, this simple act of giving became something far more profound. Each bottle of water shared symbolized kindness, unity, and the unwavering belief that service, no matter how small, can make a meaningful difference in someone’s journey.

Through moments like these, Kappa Tau continues to honor the values of leadership, friendship, and service, reminding everyone that true fulfillment is found in helping others. May this act inspire more hearts to serve selflessly and extend compassion wherever it is needed.

Our deepest gratitude goes to the other Alpha Phi Omega chapters who joined and stood with us in this meaningful service. Your time, effort, and dedication reflect the true essence of brotherhood, where service is multiplied through unity, and compassion is strengthened through collective action. Together, we were able to reach more people, share more smiles, and make the journey a little lighter for everyone.

On March 28, 2026, in celebration of National Women’s Month, the Kappa Tau Chapter of Alpha Phi Omega conducted a meaningful outreach service at the BJMP Female Dormitory in Lower Dicayas, Dipolog City.

The activity was dedicated to empowering and uplifting women deprived of liberty through the distribution of hygiene kits and snacks, as well as sharing heartwarming messages and insightful lectures. More than the material support, the chapter aimed to remind each woman of her worth, strength, and the hope that continues to live within her.

This initiative stands as a testament to the chapter’s commitment to service, compassion, and inclusivity—reaching out to those often overlooked and ensuring that no one is left behind.

The chapter also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the BJMP and its dedicated personnel for their warm accommodation, cooperation, and for allowing the Kappa Tau Chapter to carry out this service. Your support made this meaningful activity possible.

Special thanks as well to Sis. Melody Joy Lee for delivering a powerful self-awareness lecture, sharing inspiring messages, and bringing joy to the women through interactive games and dancing. Your energy and compassion truly made the experience more meaningful and memorable.

Indeed, even the simplest acts of kindness can spark courage, restore dignity, and inspire new beginnings.

𝐋𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓 (𝟓:𝟑𝟎 𝐀𝐌), Kappa Tau Chapter - 1019 successfully partaken in the 𝑺𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒆𝒐𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒓𝒆𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈, it was another meaningful service to the community by 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟏𝟎𝟎 𝐦𝐚𝐡𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐢𝐚𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐰𝐚𝐧, 𝐃𝐢𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞.

Despite the unexpected rainfall that greeted us that morning, our determination to serve did not falter. The rain became a reminder of resilience, it tested our commitment, but it also strengthened our unity as we pressed forward with the activity. Each seedling planted symbolized not only our dedication to environmental stewardship but also our perseverance in upholding the values and principles of our fraternity.

This service was more than just a tree-planting activity. It was a living testament that no obstacle, be it the weather or the challenges that come with community service, can hinder us from fulfilling our mission. We held firm to our principles, proving that true service is not measured by convenience but by commitment, sacrifice, and purpose.

Through this effort, we continue to show that the spirit of brotherhood is alive and steadfast, rooted in service for the greater good of the community and the generations to come.

𝐀𝐏𝐎 – 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐚 𝐓𝐚𝐮 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 – 𝟏𝟎𝟏𝟗

Last July 30, 2025, the brothers and sisters of APO Kappa Tau Chapter joyfully carried out a School Feeding Program at Mias Elementary School, Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte.

We were blessed with the opportunity to share 249 packed lunches of delicious spaghetti with lumpia rolls, paired with a refreshing tube of ice cream for every child. Each meal was not just food on the table, but a gesture of love, care, and support, reminding the students that they are valued and that their community stands with them in their journey.

Rendering services have always been at the heart of our mission as an APO. True to our principles, we continue to embody the values of 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆, proving that even small deeds can make a lasting impact.

Together, we serve not only to feed bodies, but also to inspire hope and strengthen the spirit of bayanihan within our community. May this effort encourage others to share what they can, extend kindness, and join us in building a brighter tomorrow through the simple yet powerful act of service.
