Ang Kagamhanan sa Dakbayan sa Dipolog gusto nga mopadayag sa ilang lawom nga kabalaka kalabot sa mga bag-ong aksyon ug alegasyon nga gihimo sa gitawag nga Save Dipolog Movement. Giisip namo kini nga mga personal nga pag-atake ug insulto sa usa ka tinuod ug epektibo nga pagdumala sa among pinalangga nga siyudad. Makapasubo nga makita ang mga walay basehanan nga mga pag-atake nga dili lamang nagpuntirya sa atong mga lider apan nakadaot usab sa mga paningkamot sa atong mga konstituwente sa pagtukod sa usa ka malinawon ug progresibong siyudad.
GIKONDENA sa City Government ang dayag nga pagpangilad nga gihimo niadtong nagmaniobra sa political rally nga nagtakuban nga prayer rally. Ang paggamit sa mga relihiyosong panagtapok alang sa tago nga mga motibo kay mapasipalahon ug makapasakit. The City Government of Dipolog would like to express its deep concern regarding the recent actions and allegations made by the so-called Save Dipolog Movement. We take these as personal attacks and insults to an otherwise genuine and effective governance of our lovable city. It is disheartening to see such baseless attacks that not only target our leaders but also undermine the efforts of our constituents in building a peaceful and progressive city.
The City Government CONDEMNS the blatant deception perpetrated by those who manipulated a political rally under the guise of a prayer rally. Using religious gatherings for ulterior motives is both blasphemous and offensive. The prayer rally permit granted to the Civic Group of the Catholic Community was misused, turning what should have been a sacred event into a political stunt designed to mislead and confuse the constituents. Such actions have no place in our city and we are denouncing it unequivocally.
DIPOLOG IS NOT UNDER ANY THREAT THAT REQUIRES SAVING FROM EXTERNAL FORCES. Our city is SAFE, PEACEFUL, THRIVING, and STEADILY PROGRESSING thanks to the dedication and hard work of our city government officials, employees, and most importantly, the support of our constituents. The accusations of political power abuse, bullying, oppression, and threats are unfounded political stunts and serve only to create division and discord among us.
The City Government of Dipolog calls all Dipolognons to stand united against any attempt to sow discord and spread false information. We believe in the principles of peace, equity, justice, and development, and we strive to achieve these goals through collaborative efforts and constructive dialogues. Our city is not in need of saving from righteous governance; rather, it is a testament to the effectiveness of our current administration and the unity of our community. In solidarity, we shall stand firm to keep it this way.
