The 9 existing and 3 new alumni scholars have received their ₱3,500 support (₱2,500 monthly stipend + ₱1,000 book allowance). The fund, sourced from the alumni association under the leadership of President Atty. Joseph Galicia, was disbursed through the efforts of Sir Efren, Ma’am Rebing, and Ma’am Jing. Three New DPS-DHS-DNAS-MMMCST-MMSU-DNHS Alumni Scholars Named in Latest Screening

July 22, 2025 — The Alumni Scholarship Screening Committee, led by Vice President Dr. Sozima Demandante along with committee officers Mrs. Rebecca Ballesteros and Mrs. Elna Jestin and Alumni Coordinators Mrs. Cecile Gabbac and Mrs. Jessica Mae Manzanillo successfully conducted its screening of incoming scholars yesterday.

After a thorough evaluation process, three deserving students were selected to receive the alumni scholarship grant for the upcoming academic year.

The chosen scholars are:

1.Jasmine Saladino -who will pursue a degree in Special Needs Education (BSNED)
2.Alvin Chris Monte -who will take up Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED)
3.Claire Aquino-who will begin her studies in Bachelor of Science in Biology

Among the newly selected scholars, one is proudly sponsored by alumnus Mr. Julius Vincent Reyes, whose generosity continues to inspire and support the next generation of professionals.

The alumni association's scholarship program is dedicated to helping financially challenged but academically deserving learners pursue higher education. The program has already sponsored 39 college scholars who have successfully graduated, an 1 law scholar,a testament to the lasting impact of the initiative.

As part of the official process, a contract signing was conducted, outlining the roles and responsibilities of the scholars, which include maintaining good academic standing, participating in alumni activities, and upholding the values of the scholarship program.

In addition to selecting new scholars, the committee also carried out a performance evaluation of nine (9) existing scholars to determine their eligibility for continued support based on their latest academic performance.

The alumni association extends its heartfelt gratitude to all alumni donors whose unwavering support makes this program possible. Their contributions not only ease the financial burden on students but also empower them to reach their full potential.

Through continued collective effort, the alumni community remains committed to advancing education and nurturing future leaders.
