We would like to inform everyone that the Luyo Basketball League has been officially cancelled due to the ongoing crisis and in compliance with Executive Order No. 12, Series of 2026, issued by the Office of the Municipal Mayor of Dimiao.

As a result, all registration fees and payments for personal jerseys will be fully refunded, and the distribution of free jerseys for players will be cancelled.

We understand the excitement and anticipation surrounding this league, and we sincerely appreciate your enthusiasm and support.

As we look forward to celebrating the fiesta, let us do so with mindfulness and compassion, remembering those who are greatly affected by the ongoing crisis, as they remain our top priority.

You are invited to join the upcoming 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞, one of the highlights of the fiesta festivities. The opening event will be held on 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, 𝐚𝐭 𝟑:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌 at Luyo Covered Court, and games will continue every Friday to Sunday until April 26, 2026.

This event promises a series of friendly yet competitive games and offers a great opportunity to strengthen camaraderie among all participants.

Today, we successfully planted 150 mangrove seedlings, a small step that will grow into a big contribution for the protection of our coastal environment. Your time, effort, and commitment truly show how the community can work together to care for nature.

Alang sa kasayuran sa tanan, ang College Educational Cash Assistance gi-allocate gikan sa 𝟏𝟎% 𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐬𝐚 𝐒𝐊 𝐠𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲. Ang atong mga opisyales sa SK aktibong nanguna ug hugot nga nagplano sa mga desisyon ug sa pagpatuman niini nga programa aron matabangan ang atong mga college students.

As this is the first time the SK has implemented this program, this assistance, though limited, can still help students with their educational expenses.

We hope to stop the spread of false information, as each SK council has its own way of implementing projects and helping the youth.

The first release of the assistance will be on Saturday, while the second release will be at the start of the next school year.

Looking back at 2024, one of our proudest highlights was the Linggo ng Kabataan—an event that did not focus solely on sports like basketball, but instead celebrated the creativity and talents of the youth in our barangay. From turning trash into gowns to other meaningful contests, these activities became a bridge in building friendships, teamwork, and stronger relationships among our youth.

Moving forward to 2025, we held our first-ever Year-End Party, an event that further strengthened our bond and connection with each one of you.

We do not create activities to impress.
Our goal has always been unity—to build stronger relationships, encourage participation, and create a safe space where every youth feels included and valued. We carefully plan our projects and activities to ensure they cater to all youth, not just a portion.

As this new year begins, we continue to hope for your support, trust, and active participation in our upcoming projects and activities. Together, let us keep building a united, empowered, and inspired youth community.

Before this year ends, we would like to thank everyone who joined us at the year-end party organized by the SK Council. We are truly grateful for your presence, support, and active participation, which made the celebration meaningful and memorable.

This event reminded us of the strong unity and cooperation within our community, and we appreciate everyone who helped make it a success.
