Thank you, The Pre-Medical Society of the Ateneo! ♥️💉

Last March 21, 2026, through Project HALina, HSS had the opportunity to collaborate with The Pre-Medical Society of the Ateneo for their Linis Lakas initiative!

From co-creating focus group discussion guides to facilitating conversations with parent chaperones and spending time with the children of Barangay Tumana, it was a day filled with meaningful community connections.

Listening to the parents allowed us to appreciate their proactive care and deep dedication to their families' health. They showed us that effective health advocacy isn't about giving top-down lectures; instead, it relies on building genuine spaces for dialogue, honoring local insights, and supporting the specific community resources they actively need on the ground.

Thank you very much to The Pre-Medical Society of the Ateneo for trusting HSS to be a part of this valuable project. We are incredibly grateful for the shared experience and will bring these lessons forward as we continue to listen and serve!

Back in Calawis National High School last February 27, HSS got to join Project LAAN’s Tutubiyahe 2 through Project HALina!

Through conversations, activities, and shared stories with the students, our volunteers were reminded that inclusion and understanding can start in the simplest ways, by listening, learning, and making others feel seen.

Thank you, Project LAAN, for welcoming HSS into such a meaningful experience 💜🧡

Last April 25, the Ateneo School of Science and Engineering held an 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗔.𝗬. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳.

At Escaler Hall, the Health Sciences Program, in collaboration with the Health Sciences Society of the Ateneo, welcomed future students into an engaging breakout room with interactive talks, games, and group activities for the applicants and their families!

Doc GJ Adarlo, the program director, set the stage with an insightful overview of the program, including the curriculum, requirements, possible career paths, and successful alumni.

This was followed by inspiring talks from incoming fourth-year students Tiff Duyongco and Reign Peña, who shared their experiences as Health Sciences students and members of HSS.
