Charity First Foundation, Inc. Charity First Foundation is a non-profit, non-government organization that aims to help improve the quality of life of the marginalized sectors of society.

In 2001, a group of Chinese-Filipino businessmen and women decided to pool their resources together to extend help to those affected by natural calamities. After organizing various relief missions in remote towns struck by typhoons and flash floods, the group continued their service by reaching out to fire victims in Metro Manila areas. Recognizing the overwhelming problems plaguing the country, t

he group committed to be part of the solution. However, realizing that organizing relief missions and providing relief goods were only temporary and short term solutions to deeper problems, they sought to find more long-term and far reaching solutions to the problems caused by poverty. Driven by their common desire, the group formed Charity First Foundation Inc, an organization committed to “helping people help themselves”. On July 1, 2001 Charity First Foundation was formally registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission, as a non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life of the marginalized sectors of the country through its four main programs.

📢 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION UPDATE

Good day, everyone!

Our Charity First Scholarship Application for School Year 2026–2027 is officially CLOSED.
Thank you to everyone who submitted their applications.

Please wait for the announcement of the Final Passers. We will post the list once the screening and evaluation process has been completed.

Good afternoon, Scholarship Aspirants!

I hope everyone is safe and doing well despite the current weather conditions.

We understand that many of you are excited to join Charity First Foundation, Inc. as our future scholars. In consideration of the weather and to give more students an opportunity to apply, we are extending our Scholarship Application period** for students from the following partner universities:

📌 Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM)
📌 Universidad De Manila (UDM)
📌 Polytechnic University of the Philippines (Official) (PUP)

📅 Application Dates: August 18–19, 2026
⏰ Time:10:00 AM–2:00 PM
📍 Venue: Charity First Foundation Office

Please bring the posted list of requirements. However, if you are unable to complete all the requirements due to the current weather conditions, please bring whatever available requirements you have so we can still assist you in proceeding with your application.

Last Saturday, the Charity First Foundation had the privilege of visiting Athena Company to introduce our organization and share our mission with their employees.

We are deeply grateful to Athena Company for their generous cash donation to support the Charity First Educational Program. Your generosity will help us continue providing educational opportunities and assistance to deserving scholars.

Beyond this meaningful contribution, we also had an inspiring discussion about future collaborations between Athena Company and Charity First Foundation. We are excited about the opportunities to work together and create an even greater impact in the lives of the communities we serve.

We are happy to inform everyone that our activity held last July 12, 2026, featuring an Eye Check-Up with Free Eyeglasses Program in partnership with Sight for Kids, headed by Ma’am Sammay Yuquico and Ma'am Carmen Ang successfully served 95 scholars of Charity First.

Our Dental Service for Scholars also provided care to many Charity First scholars, including tooth extractions and dental restorations. Those who were not accommodated will be scheduled for our upcoming dental service schedule.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers from sight for kids team and to five volunteer dentists headed by Dra. Rosa Fruto Garcia for generously sharing their time and expertise to make this activity possible.

Thank you to our members and everyone who contributed to the success of this program.
