NEWS | SPOKEN WORD VICTORY! Joshua Rigor Wins 1st Runner-Up for ASCOT

ASCOT has triumphed in the Spoken Poetry category! Delegate Joshua Rigor secured the 1st Runner-Up at the CAASUC III Festival. Coached by Ma'am Reaiah Codiapit, Joshua’s powerful delivery and moving message earned him a spot on the winners' stage. This excellent result adds crucial points to the college's total score, reinforcing ASCOT's position as a strong contender in the literary arts.

This is Rigor's first time competing in CAASUC. In a quick interview with him, he was asked a bit about his winning piece. "Ilang buwan namin 'tong sinulat (piece), tapos maraming mali na pinalitan, pero habang ginagawa namin 'yong piyesa, nae-enjoy ko siya. Nahirapan din ako sa pagdedeliver, sa pagbibigay ng emosyon, pero andyan si Coach Aiah, at tinuruan niya ako kung paano ideliver. Napakalaking tulong naman n'on dahil nagamit ko sa laban", he stated.

The team is celebrating this deserved victory. A very warm congratulations, ASCOTian!

KKDAT and AGSSOC move as one, Pres. Mike Gerald M. Riaza, spearheaded a crucial youth infiltration information seminar. The event was a collaborative effort with the 91st IB "Sinagtala" Battalion, PNP Maria Aurora, and the Agssoc officers led by Ms. Jamjam Barrientos (President). Together, they empowered the students of AGRICULTURE with vital knowledge.
