DASURECO continues its initiative by donating electrical materials and monobloc chairs to Perfecto O. Sagarino Sr. National High School in Sulop and Ibo Elementary School in Brgy. Ibo, Malalag. Additional items such as chairs, plastic tables, and a fabricated tent were also donated to Barangay Ibo, the MENBA–Malalag Chapter Davao del Sur, and the Fishermen and Public Transport Group of Brgy. Kiobog, Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental.

These demonstrate DASURECO’s dedication by empowering schools and supporting Barangays and local livelihoods.

𝐃𝐀𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐎 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

DASURECO has formally signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Envirotech Waste Recycling, Inc., a duly authorized waste recycling company that converts plastic waste into durable products such as chairs, stools, tiles, bricks, garbage bins, pallets, foot baths, foot-operated alcohol dispensers and other functional items. Envirotech has also developed innovative solutions like the EnviroHome, a house built primarily from recycled plastic waste.

Under the MOA, the parties agreed to collaborate in promoting proper segregation, collection, and recycling of plastic waste. The partnership also allows DASURECO to purchase recycled plastic products from Envirotech, which may be used in the cooperative’s corporate social responsibility initiatives.

This partnership supports DASURECO’s Reuse Your Refuse Policy, which promotes responsible waste management and practical sustainability initiatives within the cooperative.

By turning plastic waste into useful products, DASURECO not only reduces its environmental footprint but also creates tangible benefits for the communities it serves.

Through various forms of assistance and resources, the cooperative continues to help improve learning environments, public facilities, and community programs, strengthening partnerships and uplifting the lives of its Member-Consumer-Owners.

DASURECO employees extended warmth and compassion to the PDLs of the BJMP Digos City District Jail Female Dormitory through the sharing of Christmas gift packs, a simple act that has quietly grown into a meaningful tradition. Each year our employees hope to bring comfort and connection, reminding the PDLs that they remain seen and valued during the Christmas season.

@ 📍Barangay Nueva Villa, Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental

Bringing its services to yet another community, DASURECO held another in Barangay Nueva Villa, Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental earlier today. Personnel from the Institutional Services Department and Area Services Department provided residents with Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES), membership sanitation, change of membership address and name, photo updating, processing of Senior Citizen and Lifeline Rate discounts, and other requests and concerns.

Adding color to the event, the caravan also offered a “Gupitan ng Bayan” free haircut service and held a small raffle to thank Member-Consumer-Owners for their active participation.

@📍Caburan Small, Jose Abad Santos

DASURECO personnel from the Institutional Services Deparment and Area Services Department brought the cooperative’s services closer to the community through the in Barangay Caburan Small, Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental. Residents from the area were able to avail of Pre-Membership Education Seminar (PMES), membership sanitation, change of membership address and name, photo updating, processing of Senior Citizen and Lifeline Rate discounts, as well as assistance for other member requests and complaints.

A short program was also held, where Punong Barangay Michael Angelo Manalo and Malita/Don Marcelino/JAS/Sarangani District Director Dr. Ruben Caligner shared their messages of support, emphasizing the value of partnership between the cooperative and the community.

To delight our Member-Consumer-Owners, the caravan also featured a “Gupitan ng Bayan” free haircut service and a small raffle of prizes as tokens of appreciation for their continued support.

Through activities like this, DASURECO continues to strengthen community relations and bring meaningful service closer to every Member-Consumer-Owner.

DASURECO continues to uphold its commitment to community support and development through its regular CSR activities.

This week, the cooperative extended assistance to support local celebrations and faith-based activities within its coverage areas.

📍 Sitio Pulatana, Brgy. Waterfall, Kiblawan, Davao del Sur
Financial assistance was extended in support of the upcoming Araw ng Purok celebration.

📍 Birhen sa Santo Rosario de Malita Parish, Brgy. Poblacion, Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental
Financial assistance was extended in support of the upcoming Novena Mass for the Parochial Fiesta.

September CSR Highlights

Throughout the month of September, DASURECO continued to extend its support to various community organizations, schools, parishes, and institutions across Davao del Sur and Davao Occidental.

Through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the cooperative provided assistance for community events, faith-based activities, educational support, and welfare programs — all in line with its mission to serve and uplift its Member-Consumer-Owners and partner communities.

Among those assisted were:
📍 Educational institutions such as Mariano Sarona Elementary School, Dulangan Elementary School, and Bolila National High School;
📍 Religious and community groups including GKK Nuestra Señora del Rosario, GKK Sr. San Vicente Ferrer, GKK Sto. Niño, and St. Michael Parish of Padada;
📍 Civic and professional organizations such as the Davao del Sur Medical Society and the Davao Occidental Parole and Probation Office; and
📍 Local communities and associations across Kiblawan, Matanao, and Malalag for their cultural and improvement projects.

Through these efforts, DASURECO reaffirms its commitment to being a cooperative that not only provides power — but also empowers lives through continued partnership and compassion.
