| Relive the highlights from our Tree Growing Activity last August 18, 2026, in Brgy. Datu Danwata, Malita, Davao Occidental, held in celebration of the 17th National Electrification Awareness Month (NEAM) and NEA's 57th Anniversary under the theme "Forging the Brightest As One."

Alongside our dedicated DASURECO leaders, Alliance of Youth Energy (AYE) Leaders, NCIP Davao Occidental, PENRO Davao Occidental, and our incredible Tagakaulo indigenous community partners, we planted 500 coffee trees to drive sustainable livelihood and environmental stewardship.

That plastic bottle, sachet or soft plastic you throw away today could be part of tomorrow’s flood.

Plastic waste can clog drainage systems, block waterways and eventually find its way into our rivers and oceans. In the Philippines, where heavy rains and flooding are a reality, proper waste management is not just about keeping our surroundings clean - it is also about protecting our communities.

This is why DASURECO is inviting our Member-Consumer-Owners and the entire community to join our plastic collection efforts.

Instead of letting soft plastics end up in landfills, drains, rivers or the sea, collect them and drop at your nearest Member-Consumer-Owners Organization (MCOO) collection sites. Through our collective efforts, these plastics can be given a second life through upcycling and recycling.

Every piece you save from the waste stream is one less piece that can clog a drain or pollute our waterways.

Let’s turn our plastic waste into something useful and turn our individual efforts into one big bayanihan for a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable community.

Don’t throw it away. Collect it. Send it. Let’s make every piece count. 🌱♻️

The wait is over! Watch the full video of "Isang DASURECO, Isang Bayanihan". First shared as a teaser, the full music tribute officially premiered during our 44th AGMA last July 26, 2026.

This video is a testament to DASURECO’s heart for service, showing how the spirit of Bayanihan goes beyond wires and poles to bring relief, restoration, and hope to the affected faimilies and individuals of the Magnitude 7.8 Earthquake.

Because at DASURECO, we do more than light up homes - we light up hope.

| 𝙒𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙜𝙚𝙩, 𝙗𝙪𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙗𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚.

DASURECO successfully rolled out its Mission Happiness program on July 15, 2026, in Matanao District. This meaningful outreach was conducted in the spirit of celebrating the 47th anniversary of the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA), echoing the national movement of electric cooperatives to bring "Coop Power" and compassion directly to the grassroots level.

Partnering with the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP) Davao del Sur Office, the outreach initiative brought smiles, laughter, and vital assistance to 200 Indigenous cultural community (IP) learners from Saub Elementary School and Savoy Elementary School - Tagaytay Extension.

The young learners were treated to delightful snacks and a live magic show, alongside receiving bags of school supplies, essential medicines, and hygiene kits to support their education and well-being.

An effort of this scale succeeds only when a community unites. DASURECO extends its deepest gratitude to the NCIP Davao del Sur Office, the municipal government of Matanao, and the Barangay Officials of Saub and Savoy for their warm, earnest, and unwavering support. Their coordination and hands-on help ensured that the activity was executed safely, smoothly, and with maximum impact for the children.

This heartwarming initiative serves as a beautiful reminder that while we make a living by what we get, we truly make a life by what we give. Even the most modest gesture, when offered with care, ripples outward to uplift the communities we serve, especially the Indigenous cultural community. By staying deeply connected through this shared spirit of helping, DASURECO and the NCIP ensure that their collective light continues to reach and brighten every corner. Through partnerships like this, the future shines brighter for the Indigenous cultural community (IP) learners.

| We have successfully turned over our relief assistance to the municipal government of Sarangani, Davao Occidental, as part of our ongoing institutional commitment to community welfare. These provisions were made possible through the generosity of our donors, whose support strengthens our mission to aid the communities we serve.

The relief provisions were officially received by Sarangani Municipal Mayor Adelan De Arce and Sangguniang Bayan Member Judge De Arce.

As the boxes of relief goods were handed over, it became clear that our bond with the local government of Sarangani is grounded in a shared vision. Powering a community is a massive undertaking, but when we work hand-in-hand, we bring a light to the community that no storm can ever dim.
