Stepping beyond the classroom and into active environmental stewardship, the CJC EARTH Club along with the ASSH LGU joined hands with the community for the ๐๐ข๐ ๐จ๐ฌ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐๐จ ๐๐๐ซ๐ค ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฃ๐ช๐ฅ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐ฉ๐ฎ today, October 17! Organized by the City Government of Digos through the dedicated City Greening Program, this initiative brought local environmental advocates together to restore, preserve, and maintain the natural beauty of our eco-park. With the recent heavy rains washing debris into our waterways and green spaces, every piece of trash collected and every section swept served as a powerful reminder that ๐ค๐๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง ๐๐ง๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐๐ง๐ญ ๐ซ๐๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ง๐ญ, ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ ๐๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ. ๐
Adding to the pride of our organization, one of our very own EARTH Club members, ๐๐๐ค๐ข๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ค๐ช๐ฃ๐, was pulled out to serve as one of the master of ceremonies for the program! Representing our student-led environmental movement, she helped lead the program with enthusiasm and energy, ensuring that the spirit of youth civic action remained front and center throughout the event. Seeing our leadership recognized in city-wide initiatives highlights the vital role young advocates play in local government greening efforts. ๐คโจ
As we wrap up today's activity, ๐ฌ๐ ๐๐ญ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ค๐ช๐ง ๐๐๐๐ง๐ฉ๐๐๐ก๐ฉ ๐๐ง๐๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐ช๐๐ to the City Government of Digos and the City Greening Office for continuously creating platforms for environmental action. Our journey toward a cleaner, greener Digos City doesn't end with today's cleanupโit inspires us to keep practicing sustainable waste management in our daily lives and on campus.
