On March 21, 2026 (Saturday), the Goodlife Youth Movement Organization, Inc. (GYMO, Inc.) proudly participated in the CTRL+YOUTH ASEAN Consultations Forum 2026 held at the Tagum Theatre, Tagum City Historical & Cultural Center, Tagum City, Davao del Norte. A total of 29 delegates from GYMO, Inc., representing Local Organizations from UM Digos College (Goodlife Youth Movement Organization Inc. - UMDC) and the Municipality of Sulop (Goodlife Youth Movement Organization,Inc.-Sulop), actively took part in this significant regional engagement.

The forum provided a rich platform for learning and dialogue through insightful plenary sessions. Dr. Ronald Amorado delivered a compelling discussion on “From Innovation to Impact: Building Trust and Accountability in AI,” emphasizing the responsibility of institutions and individuals in ensuring that technological advancements are grounded in ethics, transparency, and public trust.

Meanwhile, Prof. Crystal Eunice Dela Cruz shared valuable perspectives on “Responsible Use of Emerging Technologies and Digital Resilience for Inclusive ASEAN Communities,” highlighting how digital transformation must remain inclusive, secure, and responsive to the needs of diverse communities.

These sessions deepened our understanding of the evolving digital landscape and strengthened our awareness of the youth’s role in shaping a responsible and future-ready ASEAN.

Participants were then grouped into Youth Consultation Circles, where ideas, experiences, and sectoral insights were consolidated toward the drafting of the Youth Manifesto for Mindanao. This document will serve as a vital contribution of the youth sector in the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairmanship in 2026, particularly in advancing discussions on digital responsibility, inclusive innovation, and youth participation in governance and development.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the organizers—ASEAN 2026 PH, Department of Social Welfare and Development - DSWD, Tayo ang Taya, and Youth Service Philippines—for creating a platform that empowers the voices of the youth across Mindanao.

Our heartfelt thanks as well to Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc. (GCCFI), especially Founding Chairman Albert C. Arroco and National President Karl Lyndon Sabio, CePG, for their continued support and for providing us the opportunity to represent and engage.

On March 31, 2026, at 8:00 PM, the Goodlife Youth Movement Organization, Inc. (GYMO, Inc.) successfully conducted its March 2026 Regular Session via Google Meet, bringing together National Executives, Regional Officers, and Local Organization Officers nationwide in a unified platform for coordination and direction-setting.

A key highlight of the session was the official rollout and comprehensive briefing of Executive Order No. 004, s. 2025–2026, entitled “𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡-𝐋𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐨-𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬.” Central to the discussion was the identification of key beneficiary sectors, particularly Filipino communities affected by rising fuel costs—placing strain on students, workers, small entrepreneurs, transport operators, and other vulnerable groups whose daily mobility and cost of living continue to be impacted.

The session underscored the need for responsive, community-centered interventions that address real and pressing needs, while fostering strong partnerships and ensuring that all initiatives remain impactful, accountable, and sustainable. Through Local Organization updates and preparatory discussions, officers aligned their plans and strategies, reflecting a shared commitment to coordinated action, purposeful leadership, and meaningful service in addressing the evolving challenges faced by communities.

Youth Organizations Registration Program (YORP) Orientation & Coordination Meeting

Building stronger connections and opening more doors for the youth across the province 🤝✨

On March 17, 2026, the Provincial Youth Development Office (PYDO) gathered Youth Organizations (YOs) and Youth-Serving Organizations (YSOs) at Arnaldo’s Hotel and Restaurant for an orientation on the YORP registration process. The meeting also served as a platform to align programs and strengthen collaboration—aiming to reach, engage, and empower more young people in our communities.

In response to the recent fire incident that affected 12 households in Purok Gemelina, Barangay San Miguel, Digos City, the Goodlife Youth Movement Organization, Inc. (GYMO–UMDC), in partnership with the Community Extension Center of UM Digos College, is launching a Donation Drive to help our fellow community members rebuild and recover.

We are calling on everyone with generous hearts to donate food packs, clothing, hygiene kits, sleeping materials, and other basic necessities, as well as monetary assistance for the immediate relief and early recovery of the affected families.

Rest assured that all donations will be properly documented and distributed in coordination with local authorities and community leaders to ensure transparency and accountability.

Together, let us extend hope, compassion, and solidarity to those in need.
