Giving blood is one way of putting faith into action.

On August 14, 2026, South Philippine Adventist College held a Mobile Blood Donation Activity, bringing together students, faculty, and members of the school community in a shared act of service. Rooted in the Adventist values of compassion, service, and care for others, the activity encouraged the community to give not only of themselves, but also for the well-being of those they may never meet.

The Philippine Red Cross โ€“ Davao del Sur Chapter extends its appreciation to South Philippine Adventist College and to our partner hospitals, Digos Doctorsโ€™ Hospital and Medical Center of Digos Cooperative, for supporting this meaningful initiative.

On August 8, 2026, Good Life Community Cares Foundation, Inc. brought its community together for a Mobile Blood Donation Activity, resulting in 85 successful donors.

With the assistance of Gonzales Maranan Medical Center, Inc., the activity demonstrated the impact of collective action and voluntary blood donation. We extend our appreciation to everyone who gave their time and took part in this meaningful effort.

On August 5, 2026, the community of Brgy. Kibao, Matanao, Davao del Sur opened its doors to a Mobile Blood Donation Activity, bringing local residents together in support of voluntary blood donation.

The activity was carried out with the assistance of the Medical Center of Digos Cooperative, giving donors an opportunity to contribute to the blood supply and extend help to patients who may need it. We are grateful to Brgy. Kibao and everyone who took part in the activity.

IHL reminds us that even in times of armed conflict, humanity must never be forgotten. It protects civilians, the wounded, medical personnel, and others who are no longer taking part in hostilities.

As humanitarians, we continue to promote respect, dignity, compassion, and protection for all.
