We are here to share an important step forward in addressing hunger and malnutrition in our community, using the "Gold from Arakan" Adlai Rice! 🌾✨

Our Feeding Program is more than just a meal service; it's a mission to give our children the nutritional foundation they deserve.

· 🍚 Superior Nutrition: Adlai is a nutrient-dense grain. Compared to white rice, it boasts significantly higher levels of Protein (12-15%) which is crucial for growth .
· 🥄 Feeding Study Results: An actual 120-day study in the Philippines found that children who received Adlai porridge had a greater increase in their daily intake of Protein, Calcium, and Iron than those who received rice porridge .
· ❤️ Health Benefits: Unlike white rice, Adlai is gluten-free and has a low glycemic index, offering sustained energy without the crash .
· 🌱 Supporting Local: By using the harvest from our very own GK Community Farmers in Arakan, we are promoting food security and sustainability right in our backyard!
