πŸŽ‰ Happy Birthday, Sir Albert C. Arroco, Jr.! πŸŽ‚

Your life has taught us that hope is not merely something we wait forβ€”it is something we choose to become. Through your unwavering compassion, generosity, and dedication to serving others, you have inspired us to look beyond ourselves and extend a helping hand to those who need it most. Every outreach, relief operation, feeding program, and community initiative you have led reminds us that even the smallest act of kindness can bring light to someone's darkest day. Because of your example, we have learned that true leadership is measured not by titles or achievements, but by the number of lives we uplift and the hope we leave behind.

You have shown us that being the hope means showing up when others are in need, believing in people when they have lost faith, and serving with humility without expecting anything in return. Your vision for the Goodlife Community Cares Foundation has transformed countless volunteers into compassionate leaders who carry the same heart for service that you embody. As we celebrate your birthday, we thank you for inspiring us to become instruments of God's love and hope in our communities. May the kindness you have shared with so many return to you a hundredfold, and may God continue to bless you with strength, wisdom, and many more years of meaningful service.

From your Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. family, we wish you a day filled with love, gratitude, and well-deserved celebration.

Happy-happy Birthday, Sir Albert C. Arroco! πŸ’™

In times of adversity, compassion becomes our greatest strength.

The Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. (GCCFI), together with our dedicated partners, the 73rd Infantry Battalion, Youth For Peace Movement (TALBOS) – Davao del Sur Chapter, Rotary, and Angat Kabataan Davao del Sur, successfully conducted an earthquake relief operation in Brgy. Butulan, Jose Abad Santos.

Through the collective efforts of our volunteers, partners, and generous supporters, we distributed 344 food packs and 344 gallons of drinking water to affected families. To bring comfort and hope, we also conducted a feeding program for the community, especially the children, reminding them that they are not alone during these challenging times.

This relief mission is a testament to the power of bayanihan, where organizations, volunteers, and communities unite to serve those in need. Every food pack shared, every gallon of water delivered, and every warm meal served carries a message of hope, compassion, and solidarity.

Most importantly, we offer our sincerest appreciation to our generous sponsors:

The Apple Man of Kapatagan: Cultivating Hope, Growth, and Sustainability in Digos City

Nestled in the cool highlands of Kapatagan, Digos City, where rolling green mountains meet fertile agricultural land, a remarkable story of innovation, passion, and purpose continues to inspire many. At the center of this story is Mr. Benzone Sepe, popularly known as the β€œApple Man of Kapatagan,” whose dedication to apple farming is opening new possibilities for agriculture, tourism, environmental protection, and livelihood development in the locality.

Mr. Sepe has become a symbol of perseverance and vision as he continues to prove that apple farming is possible in Kapatagan’s favorable climate and elevation. Through years of commitment, patience, and experimentation, he has successfully nurtured thriving apple trees that now bear healthy and vibrant fruits. His success is not only a personal milestone but a groundbreaking achievement that demonstrates the vast agricultural potential of Kapatagan.

More than just an agricultural venture, Goodnian Sepe’s advocacy has now grown into a greater mission through collaboration with Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc., where he actively serves as a committed and passionate member. Sharing the same vision for sustainable community development, the Foundation recognizes the transformative impact of apple farming in the region and has pledged support in helping establish and expand an Apple Farm in Kapatagan, Digos City.

This initiative aims to go beyond fruit production. The envisioned apple farm seeks to become a model of sustainable development by serving multiple purposes for the community.

First, it will help expand apple production in the locality, introducing a unique and promising agricultural industry that could diversify Kapatagan’s farming sector. This breakthrough may encourage more local farmers to explore high-value crops, increasing agricultural productivity and economic opportunities.

Second, the apple farm is envisioned to become a future tourism destination in Davao del Sur. With Kapatagan already known for its breathtaking landscapes and cool climate, the addition of an apple farm creates a unique attraction that can draw tourists, nature lovers, and agricultural enthusiasts. Visitors can experience apple picking, scenic farm tours, and eco-tourism activities that showcase the beauty and richness of the region.

Beyond economic and tourism opportunities, the initiative also strengthens efforts in environmental protection and sustainability. Apple farming contributes to greener landscapes, promotes responsible land use, and supports reforestation efforts that help preserve the natural beauty of Kapatagan. By planting more trees and maintaining sustainable farming practices, this initiative contributes to protecting the environment for future generations.

Most importantly, this project aims to create meaningful livelihood opportunities for local communities. From farming operations to tourism-related services, the apple farm can generate jobs and income for families in Kapatagan and nearby areas. It represents a practical and sustainable approach to community developmentβ€”one that empowers people while preserving nature.

Through the united efforts of Mr. Benzone Sepe and Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc., apple farming is now becoming more than just an agricultural experimentβ€”it is becoming a movement driven by hope and purpose. Their collaboration reflects a shared commitment to innovation, environmental stewardship, and uplifting communities through sustainable initiatives.

Goodnian Sepe’s journey reminds us that great things can grow even in places where many think impossible. His story proves that with vision, dedication, and collaboration, communities can cultivate opportunities that bear fruit for generations to come.

As Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc. continues to champion meaningful causes, the apple farming initiative in Kapatagan stands as a shining example of what can be achieved when people come together for a common purpose.

For many families in Brgy. Camahual, Balut Island, the recent earthquake did more than shake the ground beneath themβ€”it disrupted livelihoods, damaged homes, and left countless families uncertain about what tomorrow would bring. Yet even in the midst of uncertainty, hope found its way across the sea.

Driven by its commitment to serve communities in times of greatest need, the Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. (GCCFI), in partnership with the Youth for Peace Movement (YFPM) – Davao del Sur Chapter, the 73rd Infantry Battalion, and the Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao, successfully carried out a humanitarian relief operation for the earthquake-affected residents of Brgy. Camahual.

Transported aboard BRP Tausug (LC 803), the mission delivered 653 food packs, 500 gallons and nearly a thousand bottles of clean drinking water, blankets, clothing, and other essential necessities to families beginning the difficult journey of rebuilding their lives. While these relief items may seem simple to many, for those who had lost so much, they became reminders that they had not been forgotten.

Behind every relief pack was a story of generosity. Behind every gallon of water was the kindness of someone willing to give. Before the aid reached the island, countless volunteers spent long hours sorting, packing, lifting, loading, and preparing every item with care. Others crossed the sea, enduring almost 22 hours of travel and challenging conditions, driven by one shared purposeβ€”to reach fellow Filipinos who needed hope more than anything else.

This mission would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our partners. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Naval Forces Eastern Mindanao and the crew of BRP Tausug (LC 803) for safely transporting both volunteers and humanitarian aid across the waters to Balut Island. We also thank the 73rd Infantry Battalion for their steadfast commitment to public service and the Youth for Peace Movement (YFPM) – Davao del Sur Chapter for once again proving that the spirit of volunteerism knows no boundaries.

Most importantly, we offer our sincerest appreciation to our generous sponsors:
