The Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. (GCCFI), represented by Ms. Irene A. Calog, participated in the Quarterly Project Monitoring Activity of the City Project Monitoring Committee (CPMC) on October 2, 2026, in Digos City.

The activity forms part of the mandate of the Project Monitoring Committees established through Executive Order No. 376, series of 1989, as amended, and reinforced through local issuances of the City Government of Digos. The initiative aims to promote transparency, accountability, and effective monitoring of government-funded projects for the benefit of communities.

As a member of the City Project Monitoring Committee, GCCFI joined representatives from various sectors in monitoring key infrastructure projects implemented by the City Government of Digos, including:

• Improvement of the Multi-Purpose Building (Gym) at Ramon Magsaysay Elementary School, Brgy. Zone 3, Digos City
• Improvement of Rizal Park, Brgy. Zone 3, Digos City
• Upgrading of Local Access Road at Purok 8, Brgy. Aplaya, Digos City
• Upgrading of Local Access Road at Purok 5, Brgy. Aplaya, Digos City
• Improvement of the Multi-Purpose Building (Gym) at Aplaya Elementary School, Brgy. Aplaya, Digos City

Through its participation in the monitoring activity, GCCFI reaffirms its commitment to promoting good governance, transparency, and citizen participation in local development initiatives. The Foundation recognizes the importance of collaborative efforts between government and civil society organizations in ensuring that public projects are effectively implemented and responsive to the needs of the community.

The Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. extends its appreciation to the City Government of Digos and the City Project Monitoring Committee for continuously fostering partnerships that encourage accountability, community engagement, and sustainable development.

The Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc. (GCCFI) is deeply honored to have been part of the National Teachers Month Culmination and World Teachers’ Day Celebration held on October 2, 2026, at the Davao del Sur Coliseum, where approximately 6,200 teachers from the DepEd Division of Davao del Sur gathered in recognition of their invaluable contributions to education and nation-building.

This momentous occasion served as a tribute to the dedication, passion, and sacrifices of our educators who continue to shape minds, nurture dreams, and inspire future generations. Teachers are more than educators—they are mentors, role models, and everyday heroes whose influence extends far beyond the four corners of the classroom.

As an organization committed to education, community development, and nation-building, GCCFI remains steadfast in supporting programs and initiatives that empower teachers, strengthen educational institutions, and create better opportunities for learners and communities alike.

To further celebrate and engage with our teachers, GCCFI set up a booth during the event where visitors received raffle numbers for a chance to win exciting prizes and were given complimentary hand fans as tokens of appreciation. The booth became a welcoming space for educators to connect with the Foundation and learn more about its programs and initiatives.

As part of the celebration, participants also had the opportunity to receive various prizes in recognition of their commitment and service to education.

The Goodlife Foundation, through its Environment Sector, conducted the World Environmental Health Day: Reforestation Project – Adopt-a-Tree Program on September 26, 2026, in Kapatagan, Digos City.

Led by James Bryan L. Sacares, together with Jovy Padilla and Junel Aparece, the activity brought together GCCFI volunteers from Nephi, Alpha, and Emerald Chapters, members of the community, and partners who adopted coffee and apple seedlings. Beyond planting, the initiative encouraged participants to take responsibility for the continued care and protection of their adopted trees.

With the support of Chairman Albert C. Arroco Jr. and the Board of Trustees, the project strengthened community participation and environmental awareness while highlighting the connection between a healthy environment and healthier communities.

The Goodlife Foundation extends its appreciation to all GCCFI members and volunteers, Yvonnie Calura, Shaina Wenceslao, Michael Guray, Reymark Cansancio, and the partners who adopted and committed to caring for the seedlings.

The initiative contributes to the shared goals of Climate Action, Life on Land, and Sustainable Communities, reflecting The Goodlife Foundation’s continuing commitment to community-centered environmental stewardship.

On September 30,2026, Goodlife Community Cares Foundation Inc. and Goodlife Group of Companies are deeply honored to be recognized during the 2nd Sumbanan Awards of the Municipality of Sulop, Davao del Sur, receiving the distinction “ALIADO DEL BALANGAY” as a valued partner in advancing open governance and community development.

This recognition honors institutions whose partnership, resources, collaboration, and continued support have contributed to strengthening barangays and uplifting communities.

We are truly grateful to the Municipality of Sulop for recognizing and acknowledging our humanitarian efforts and services in the locality. The Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. (GCCFI), in partnership with MendRite Diagnostic and Medical Aesthetic Clinic, Goodlife Group of Companies, Paddleyard, EuroAsia Pharmaceuticals, MergFil Pharma, Balai Magayan, Gutskin, Wee Eng Construction Inc., Daily Auto Garage, Davao Kalingap Pharmacy, MD Jeram, PVAC Trading, UltraLiv, Folares Pharmaceuticals, 73rd Infantry Neutralizer Battalion and Yormed Marketing, successfully conducted a Medical Mission and Community Outreach Program on September 28, 2026, in Brgy. Magulibas, Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.

The initiative brought together healthcare professionals, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners in a shared commitment to improving the well-being of local residents. Through the activity, community members received free medical check-ups, free medicines, free haircuts, slippers, and warm servings of lugaw, ensuring that essential services and compassionate care reached those who needed them most.

Beyond healthcare services, the outreach created a joyful and engaging environment for children through games and prizes, bringing smiles and memorable experiences to young participants. Families and residents also gathered to share warm bowls of lugaw and receive basic necessities, fostering a sense of community, fellowship, and care among everyone present.

This meaningful undertaking reflects GCCFI's continuing mission of promoting accessible healthcare, social responsibility, and community empowerment. Through strong partnerships and collective action, the Foundation and its partners continue to create opportunities to serve, uplift lives, and strengthen communities.

In celebration of National Family Week, the Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc. (GCCFI), through the collective efforts of its volunteers, conducted a Lugaw Distribution Activity on September 26, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center, Quirino Avenue, Digos City.

As part of the Foundation’s commitment to fostering compassion and community solidarity, approximately 450 cups of lugaw were distributed to individuals and families gathered during the activity. More than providing a warm meal, the initiative served as a simple yet meaningful expression of care, unity, and service values that lie at the heart of every strong family and community.

National Family Week reminds us of the vital role families play in shaping responsible citizens and nurturing a culture of love, respect, and mutual support. Through this outreach activity, GCCFI joined the nation in recognizing the importance of family by extending kindness and sharing blessings with others.

As we celebrate National Family Week, may we continue to uphold the values of compassion, generosity, and unity—not only within our homes but also in the communities we serve.

The Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc., through the Digos City Greening Program and Environment Sector, joined the International Coastal Clean-Up 2026 on September 19, 2026, at Pedro Garcia Elementary School, Punta Biao, Brgy. Cogon, Digos City.

Led by National Chairperson James Bryan L. Sacares (JB Sacares) of the Environment Sector, together with President Yvonnie Calura of Nephi District, President Shaina Wenceslao of Emerald Chapter, and Junel Aparece of the Environment Sector, the activity brought together GCCFI volunteers, the City Government of Digos, public and private sectors, and the community of Brgy. Cogon.

Volunteers worked together to remove and properly segregate plastic waste, bottles, food packaging, fishing-related debris, and other litter along the shoreline, helping reduce marine pollution and promote a cleaner and more sustainable coastal environment.

The Goodlife Foundation extends its appreciation to all GCCFI volunteers, the City Government of Digos, the Greening Program, and participating public and private sectors for their shared commitment to environmental stewardship and community action.

The Goodlife Community Cares Foundation, Inc., through its Education Sector led by National Chairperson Ann Karen M. Marhen, held the G-Library Opening Ceremony at New Opon Elementary School, Brgy. New Opon, Magsaysay, Davao del Sur, on August 7, 2026.

The initiative, implemented under the G-Library and Adopt a School Programs, provides children and the community with accessible books, learning resources, and a welcoming space that encourages reading, creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning. By bringing educational resources closer to learners, it helps create greater opportunities to learn, dream, and build a better future.

Through expanding access to learning and strengthening community-based educational support, the initiative contributes to the shared goals of Quality Education, Reduced Inequalities, and Sustainable Communities, reflecting The Goodlife Foundation’s commitment to making learning more accessible and inclusive.

The Goodlife Foundation extends its appreciation to New Opon Elementary School and everyone who helped make this initiative possible. We also thank Founding Chairman Albert C. Today, September 14, 2026, the 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐜. (𝐆𝐂𝐂𝐅𝐈) was honored to be part of the 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐮𝐫𝐧-𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 – 𝐆𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐧𝐢 𝐈𝐠𝐧𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐚 at Barangay San Isidro, Kiblawan, Davao del Sur.

More than the turnover of a house, this meaningful occasion is a reminder of what becomes possible when people choose to care, share, and work together. A home may be built from concrete, wood, and steel, but behind every wall are acts of generosity, every helping hand, and every person who believed that one family deserves a safer and more hopeful beginning.

Through the collective efforts of the 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐈𝐧𝐜., 𝐃𝐈𝐋𝐆, 𝐌𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐊𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧, 𝐑𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 𝐨𝐟 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐬, 𝐁-𝐐𝐮𝐛𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐆𝐂𝐂𝐅𝐈, and all volunteers and supporters, a shared vision was transformed into something tangible—a home filled with the promise of comfort, dignity, and new beginnings.

GCCFI, with the support of 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐨 and 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳, is grateful to have contributed to this mission. Our contribution is only one part of a much bigger story, but it is through these combined efforts that service becomes more meaningful. No contribution is too small when it is given with purpose, and no act of kindness is ever wasted when it helps change someone’s tomorrow.

The 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐩𝐞 is more than the name of a project. It symbolizes how a single seed of compassion can grow through partnership, bayanihan, and shared responsibility. Today, that seed stands as a home—a place where a family can build memories, dream again, and face the future with renewed hope.

May this home always remind us that when communities come together, kindness becomes stronger, hope becomes visible, and lives can truly be changed.
