𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐈𝐋 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄 || Perhaps it is not an end but a planting. When the soil is pressed down to keep the light away, it only forces the roots to seek deeper channels. A truth, like a seed, does not vanish in the dark. It simply learns to grow, waiting for the moment when the pressure above decides to give way. IT WILL.

The atmosphere at UM Bansalan College was electric this Friday, March 6, 2026, as the campus opened its doors to host the highly anticipated UM Interbranch Expression Skills competition for the Senior High School category.

𝐔𝐌 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 - 𝐒𝐇𝐒 had officially secured the title of Overall Champion, fueled by a relentless string of podium finishes that showcased the depth of their creative and performing arts programs.

The victory for UM Digos was built on a foundation of literary and artistic excellence early in the day. Mhyll Rose M. Colongan delivered a powerful performance in Filipino Essay Writing to take first place, while the poetry category saw a total sweep as Jelyn B. Delposo and Jenny Lyn L. Pagcay clinched the top spots in English and Filipino respectively. The visual arts were no exception to this momentum, with Zara Fay B. Lucañas earning a first-place finish in Poster Making, effectively giving UM Digos an early lead that the other branches struggled to close.

As the competition moved into the performance stage, the Digos contingent continued to rack up major points. The SayAwit team, composed of Jazz May E. Corsino, Norhaina C. Disomimba, Emery Bongan, and Princess Nicole Dieparine, captivated the audience to take home the championship trophy in their category. This was quickly followed by a high-octane performance from the Hip-Hop Dance crew, where Stanlee Durano, Aldrian Jane O. Alipis, Evanz I. Elarcosa, Norhaina C. Disomimba, Deborah Patrize C. Flores, Alexandra S. Bacor, and Alea Jollie C. Cornito showcased a level of synchronization and energy that earned them another first-place win.

The day also highlighted the individual versatility within the Digos ranks, as Jazz May E. Corsino returned to the stage to secure a hard-fought third-place finish in the Vocal Solo category.

This consistent presence in the winners' circle across every discipline made the final announcement of UM Digos College as the Overall Champion a moment of immense pride for the visiting delegation. UM Digos returns home with the prestigious overall title, marking a historic day of talent and triumph for their Senior High School students.

‎𝐓𝐍𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭|Commemoration of 40th EDSA People Power Anniversary
