𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞 | 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐒𝐒 2026–2027 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞!

It was an amazing experience for the 𝐇𝐔𝐌𝐒𝐒 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐨𝐟 2026–2027 as they completed their performance task for Creative Writing. From the sorrowful moments of 𝐀𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐥 𝐁𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐨 by St. Bridget, to the scary revelations of 𝐏𝐀𝐆𝐏𝐀𝐆 by St. Veronica, and the sweet and heartwarming nature 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐢 𝐀𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐞𝐧𝐚 by St. Camillus, each performance truly took the audience on a rollercoaster ride of emotions.

These theater plays were truly worth watching. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐬, 𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐝. You could really feel the energy and excitement throughout every performance.

On August 22, several UICians participated in this year’s 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙠𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙥—where a tapestry of creativity and a gallery of ideas were brought to life.

Through diverse art sessions and engaging activities, students were able to attain new skills, discover a hidden potential, and showcase their artistic talents: flour turned into sweet creations, threads into beautiful patterns, ink into elegant expressions, and simple materials turned into art.
