The spirit of bayanihan marked the first day of Brigada Eskwela 2026 at Alberto Olarte Sr. National High School as teachers, parents, and stakeholders joined forces to prepare the school for the opening of classes. Led by School Principal Kristine Ivah Escuadra, the teaching and non-teaching personnel actively participated in various clean-up and maintenance activities aimed at creating a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment for students.

Simultaneously, the school conducted its enrollment for the upcoming school year, welcoming parents and learners eager to register and secure their places in class. Despite the enrollment process, many parents also volunteered their time and effort in Brigada Eskwela activities, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the school and their children's education. Their participation reflected the growing partnership between the school and the community in promoting quality learning opportunities.

The successful opening day showcased the collective dedication of the AONHS community toward educational excellence and school readiness. Through cooperation, volunteerism, and shared responsibility, teachers, parents, and stakeholders proved that preparing for a new school year is not solely the task of the school but a mission that involves the entire community working together for the benefit of every learner.

With minds eager for direction and hearts ready for possibility, Alberto Olarte Sr. National High School celebrated Career Guidance Month 2026 on February 27, 2026, with a powerful and inspiring program anchored on the theme, โ€œEmbrace, Evolve and Succeed: Preparing for the Future of Work.โ€ The activity gathered Grade 10 and Grade 12 students in a meaningful encounter designed to help them discover their strengths, clarify their goals, and confidently face the ever-changing demands of the modern workforce.

The event was graced by the schoolโ€™s Guidance Coordinator, Heddy N. Arendain, whose presence reaffirmed the institutionโ€™s commitment to student development and career readiness. The program was spearheaded by Maโ€™am Gelian Peรฑaflorida and Ralph Ken Pinoon, whose leadership ensured that the celebration was not only organized but impactful. Their collaborative efforts created a space where students could reflect, listen, and be inspired to take proactive steps toward their future careers.

Adding depth and real-world perspective to the celebration were the two invited guest speakers, Sir Kenny Roger Motoy and Sir John Loyd Nayre. Both speakers shared practical insights drawn from their professional journeys, emphasizing resilience, adaptability, and the importance of continuous learning. They encouraged students to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth and to evolve alongside the rapid transformations in industries and technology. Their messages resonated strongly with the participants, especially the graduating Grade 12 students preparing for higher education or employment, and the Grade 10 learners beginning to shape their academic pathways.

Kristine Ivah Escuadra, Principal I thru Sir B**g L. Baja, Master I also expressed her full support for the initiative, highlighting the importance of guidance programs in shaping informed and empowered decision-makers. Her encouragement further strengthened the spirit of collaboration that defined the celebration.

Indeed, Career Guidance Month 2026 was more than a school eventโ€”it was a reminder that success is not accidental but intentional. By embracing opportunities, evolving with change, and preparing strategically, AOSNHS students are one step closer to building purposeful careers and meaningful lives.
