we are humbly reaching out to ask for your support for our Muslim brothers and sisters who have been affected by the recent fire in Vista Mar, Ilang. many families have lost their homes, belongings, and basic necessities, and are now facing difficult challenges as they work to rebuild their lives.

we kindly ask for any donations, whether in cash, food, clothing, hygiene supplies, blankets, or other essential items. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help provide relief and bring hope to those in need.

The Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Ilang, in partnership with COMELEC 2nd District, Davao City, invites everyone to the Satellite Voters Registration for the upcoming Barangay and SK Elections 2026

✅ Who can register?
• New voters (including those turning 15 for SK)
• Transfer / change of records
• Correction of details

📌 Requirements:
• SK registrants (15–17 yrs old): School ID or Birth Certificate
• Regular voters: Any valid government-issued ID
• For corrections (name, birthdate): Photocopy of Birth Certificate
• Change status (single to married): Photocopy of Marriage Contract

In Support of Suldayang 2026 ✨🌙

Alhamdulillah! On March 22, 2026, we had the honor of attending Suldayang 2026 held in Barangay Sasa, Davao City.

We, the Ilang Youth Unity Circle (IYUC), would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the MVYO team for graciously inviting us to be part of this remarkable event. It was truly a meaningful and memorable evening that beautifully showcased the talent, confidence, and unity of all the participants. ✨

We would also like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the candidates and winners. Each of you shone with excellence and grace. In particular, we commend these two young outstanding individuals who were recognized with the Sultan & Dayang IYUC Choice Award. You both did an amazing job, and we are proud of each one of you.

Special thanks to MVYO President, Kendall Jan, for the warm invitation and outstanding leadership.

Once again, we thank MVYO OFFICIALS for the warm welcome and for including us in such a significant celebration. May Allah (SWT) continue to bless your organization and the entire community with success and unity. 🤍

✨ Eid’l Fitr Youth Celebration Games 2026 🌙✨

Alhamdulillah! The Eid’l Fitr Youth Celebration Games 2026 was successfully celebrated in Ilang Muslim Village. 🤍

The event brought together the youth of Purok 11 and Purok 12, fostering unity, cooperation, and active participation. It was truly a meaningful celebration filled with joy, connection, and strong community spirit.

We are honored to have had the presence of the SK Chairperson and council, and we sincerely appreciate their time and support. Our heartfelt thanks to the SK of Barangay Ilang, especially SK Chairperson Gilia Jean Gallera Sab, for helping make this event possible.

This celebration became even more meaningful through the partnership with JAMAA ILANG DAVAO City

To everyone who participated and supported the activity, thank you. May the spirit of unity and togetherness continue beyond Eid.

Eid’l Fitr Youth Celebration Games 2026 🌙✨

In celebration of Eid’l Fitr 2026, the Ilang Youth Unity Circle (IYUC) will conduct the Eid’l Fitr Youth Celebration Games on March 21, 2026, for the youth of Purok 11 and Purok 12, Ilang Muslim Village.
This activity aims to promote unity, cooperation, and active participation among the youth through enjoyable and meaningful games.

Event Lineup:

🕐 2:00 PM – Pakwan Race (Boys & Girls)
🕜 2:30 PM – Blowing Flour Challenge (Boys & Girls)
🕑 3:00 PM – Sack Race (Boys & Girls)
🕒 3:30 PM – Dayang-Dayang Challenge (Girls)
🕞 4:00 PM – Pagbira Ha Lubid (Boys)

Participants are encouraged to come on time, cooperate with their teams, and show respect and fairness throughout the activities.

Be ready, have fun, and Eid Mubarak to everyone!

ASSALAMU ALAIKUM WA RAHMATULLAHI WA BARAKATUH.

In celebration of Eid’l Fitr, the Davao City Muslim Affairs Office will conduct a Post-Ramadan Basketball League as part of its continuing effort to promote unity, brotherhood, and healthy engagement within the Muslim community.

The opening day of the games will be on April 6, 2026 at 12:00 noon, and the league will run until April 12, 2026, to be held at the Davao Recreational Center (formerly Almendras Gym), Davao City.

Interested teams are warmly encouraged to submit their team entries in advance, including the complete list of players and their respective jersey sizes.

Each team shall consist of fifteen (15) players, with a maximum of three (3) commercial/open players only, while the remaining twelve (12) players must be strictly residents of Davao City.

The deadline for the submission of team entries is on March 13, 2026. All team entries and requirements shall be submitted to the Davao City Muslim Affairs Office located at Magsaysay Park, Davao City.

The following requirements shall be submitted for each player:

• Biodata

• For Balik-Islam/Revert players – Conversion/Revert Documents

• Certification from the Imam of the mosque where the player regularly performs Salah/Jama’ah

• For the twelve (12) Davao City resident players – Barangay Certificate confirming residency

We look forward to the active participation and support of the community as we celebrate Eid’l Fitr through sportsmanship, camaraderie, and unity.

Ramadhan Symposium 2026 ✨

Alhamdulillah 🤍 On February 25, 2026, we once again supported the second symposium organized by Jama’a Ilang at Ilang Muslim Village Gym.

Our guest speaker was 🎙️ Sheikh Abdulrahman Caderao
(Graduate of Kulliyyah al-Shari’ah, Jamiah Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University – Indonesia Branch)

As our humble act of service, IYUC distributed snacks to the jama’ah. A simple support, sincerely offered for the sake of Allah (SWT).
