Philippine Eagle Conservation Sewmates Conservation Sewmates is a community enterprise helping indigenous women diversify their income sources. The main features of the project are:

1.

Buying one plush toy meant a day’s break for these women from hard labor that described subsistence farming in the uplands. A portion of the sales directly go Philippine eagle conservation efforts. Capacity-building for women on hand-sewing of plush toys.

2. Provision of marketing support for the hand-made products.

3. Starting up of a Community Development Fund that they can use for their priority projects including health, education, conservation and livelihood.
