A look back at the launching of the PDO of IconHope Foundation, Inc.

It was a meaningful gathering of faith, vision, and shared commitment to bring together partners, donors, and advocates in one space for a cause greater than ourselves.

From the blessing of the office to the messages of inspiration and support, the event marked the beginning of a mission rooted in action, compassion, and hope.

This was more than a ceremony. It was a reminder that when people come together with purpose, lives can truly be transformed.

Edgar Samodan once dreamed of becoming a police officer. But for many young people like him, poverty can force dreams to change shape. Instead of pursuing a college degree, Edgar chose TESDA so he could learn practical skills, work abroad someday, and help free his family from poverty.

Through Project M.O.S.E.S., Edgar found more than assistance. He found a community. Among fellow youth members, he found encouragement to stay away from the broken paths of life and to keep believing that a better future is still possible. From school supplies to food support for his family, especially during the pandemic, Project M.O.S.E.S. became one of the steady hands that helped him keep going.

His dream may have changed, but his hope did not. And sometimes, that is where transformation begins.

Yesterday, the 5th Financial Planning Forum brought together leaders, practitioners, and changemakers at Holy Cross of Davao College for a meaningful exchange on “Empowering Financial Resilience: Strategies for a Sustainable Future.”

Through keynote sessions, panel discussions, and workshops, the forum explored how organizations can build stronger financial foundations, navigate funding opportunities, and align resources with impact in key areas such as environment, education, health, social enterprise, housing, and animal welfare.

We thank our speakers, partners, and participants for sharing insight, experience, and a common commitment to sustainable development. May the conversations we began continue to shape stronger institutions and more hopeful communities.
