Luna Legal Resource Center for Women and Children, Inc. The women and children are at the very core of Lunâ and it hopes to attain its vision and mission. It suggests more than a place or space one could go.

Lunâ is a Cebuano word which means "place" or "space", or in a deeper sense, a haven. It is a refuge where one feels secure and comfortable. Lunâ was launched on September 21, 2004, a product of the concerted efforts of five women and children rights-focused institutions, namely: Talikala, Inc., Tambayan Center for Children's Rights, Bathaluman Crisis Center for Women, Mindanao Working Group of At

eneo de Davao, and Kabataan Consortium. Lunâ was created to answer the increasingly felt demand for protection and advancement of the rights of women and children, which violations are steadily rising at an alarming rate.
