MORE THAN A RIDE❤️

What was supposed to be an ordinary trip to school turned into a moment of kindness that a student and her family would remember.

22 year old Alliah Flores was on her way to school when she boarded an e-jeep in Malinta bound for Monumento. When she was about to pay her fare, she checked her bag and realized she had accidentally left her wallet at home.

With no money for the ride, Alliah decided to get off.

The driver noticed and asked her why. After learning that she had forgotten her wallet and had no fare, he told her not to leave.

Then he did something she never expected.

Instead of simply allowing her to ride for free, the driver handed Alliah ₱100 so she would still have money to continue her trip to school.

Alliah’s mother, May Albert Flores, later shared the encounter online in hopes of finding the driver and thanking him personally. She said the gesture touched their family, especially knowing that the person who helped her daughter was also someone working hard to earn a living.

Alliah later managed to return the ₱100 through the driver’s conductor, although she was not able to meet the driver again. She still hopes to see him someday and personally thank him for what he did.

It was a simple gesture from a stranger, but for a student who suddenly found herself with no fare on the way to school, it meant a lot.

Road Safety Is a Shared Responsibility.
