In an interview with Miss Jannah Rasheya Tolentino, one of the facilitators of the Design Thinking Workshop, she highlighted how participants were encouraged to break patterns, unlearn what they already know, and come in with an open mind.
This shift in mindset allowed them to see problems from fresh perspectivesโmoving away from familiar ways of thinking and toward more human-centered, meaningful solutions. Through openness, collaboration, and curiosity, participants were able to embrace a process that values understanding just as much as creating.
This initiative was made possible by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the Japan Fund for Prosperous and Resilient Asia and the Pacific (JFPR), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) DTI - Resource Generation and Management Service, DTI - Philippine Trade Training Center-Global MSME Academy, and the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
