Some stories begin with a cup. LOVINGGABRIEL's began with one he chose not to buy.

Given the simple weekly prompt โMilktea,โ Niel did more than write about a drink. He turned an ordinary cup into a reflection on belonging, financial struggle, homesickness, friendship, and the quiet weight of a motherโs sacrifice. Through memories of counting his last bills, saying โsigeโ when he meant โI canโt.โ Eventually, as he walked away from the milktea shop on Iรฑigo Street, he found a story about choosing himself without guilt.
Perhaps that is what makes the piece worthy of its feature, the milktea was never really about the drink. It was about the price he once believed he had to pay just to belong.
And in the end, Niel discovered that belonging cannot and should not be bought by the cup.
๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐, ๐ก๐ถ๐ฒ๐น! May this be more than a feature on a pageโit may be the beginning of many more stories that deserve to be read, felt, and remembered.
From the drafting table to the literary page, CESA celebrates a future engineer whose pen knows how to build, too.
