𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 🤍✨

After all the sleepless nights, hard work, and countless sacrifices, we’re finally here. Today, we celebrate not just the privilege of wearing the white coat, but also the responsibility that comes with it.

As we take this next step in our journey, may we always be guided by this year’s theme, “𝓢𝓪𝓹𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓪 𝓮𝓽 𝓗𝓾𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓼: 𝑲𝒏𝒐𝒘𝒍𝒆𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑷𝒖𝒓𝒑𝒐𝒔𝒆,” and strive to uphold the values of integrity, compassion, and excellence in everything we do.

Congratulations to all the pinning and white coat recipients! Here’s to becoming healthcare professionals who serve with knowledge, humility, and a genuine heart for others. This is only the beginning.

Developing lifesaving skills, one step at a time. ❤️🚑

On July 15–16, 2026, students from the BS Pharmacy and BS Medical Laboratory Science programs, together with their Clinical Instructors, participated in a two-day Basic Life Support (BLS) Training held at SHL 413.

The first day focused on lectures and demonstrations covering the fundamentals of Basic Life Support, including emergency response, high-quality cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the proper use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and the management of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO). Students were taught the correct step-by-step procedures and protocols necessary for responding effectively during emergency situations.

The second day was dedicated to hands-on learning, where students applied their knowledge through return demonstrations and scenario-based activities. They performed CPR on both adult and infant manikins, responded to simulated emergencies, and demonstrated appropriate interventions for choking victims. These practical exercises helped strengthen their confidence, competence, and preparedness to provide immediate assistance when needed.

The training emphasized the importance of equipping students and future healthcare professionals with lifesaving knowledge and skills that can make a significant difference during emergencies. As more individuals become trained in Basic Life Support, communities become safer and better prepared to respond when every second matters.

Students are encouraged to continue practicing and sharing the knowledge they have gained with their families, friends, and communities. Through awareness, education, and preparedness, more lives can be protected and saved.

🌍 This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) 3: Good Health and Well-Being and 4: Quality Education by equipping future healthcare professionals with essential lifesaving skills through quality, hands-on learning that promotes healthier, safer, and more resilient communities.

Every journey toward becoming a healthcare professional begins with a commitment to serve.

Guided by this year’s theme, “𝓢𝓪𝓹𝓲𝓮𝓷𝓽𝓪 𝓮𝓽 𝓗𝓾𝓶𝓪𝓷𝓲𝓽𝓪𝓼: Knowledge with Compassion, Service with Purpose,” we reaffirm our commitment to cultivating healthcare professionals who embody both clinical competence and genuine compassion in the service of humanity.

This year, we proudly recognize 55 internship candidates who have demonstrated exceptional dedication and perseverance throughout their academic journey—49 candidates from the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science and 6 candidates from the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. As they prepare to embark on their clinical training, we celebrate this significant milestone and their readiness to serve with integrity, excellence, and compassion.

Join us as we celebrate the 5th Pinning and White Coat Ceremony honoring the dedication, perseverance, and passion of our future healthcare professionals as they take a significant step toward their chosen vocation.
