𝐘𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐍𝐄𝐇 (𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬)

We are filled with gratitude after a productive and fruitful Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) meeting held in Koronadal City. It was a privilege to sit down with 𝐁𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐑𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 to discuss the essential path forward in rebuilding our damaged churches. We would also like to express our gratitudes to 𝐉𝐍𝐎 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐲 for their unwavering support and for allowing us to use their van for our transportation.

Disaster recovery is not just about restoring structures; it is about restoring hope and strengthening the foundation of our community. Through proactive planning, structural assessment, and collaborative efforts, we are committed to ensuring our places of worship are safe, resilient, and ready to continue serving the faithful.
We look forward to the journey ahead as we work hand-in-hand to rebuild.

Prayer and Fasting held at Agod Memorial Alliance Church, with 236 delegates, just concluded and everyone are refreshed by the presence of God. This annual District prayer and fasting features prayer, healing, thanksgiving, fellowship and recollection. Indeed, Unity in prayer produces a powerful outcome.

We would like to thank the following who have contributed for the success of the said event:

Rev. Nelson Teon, our District Prayer, Coordinator, for spearheading the event.

Rev Bert Labawan, for his inspiring message that empowered our pastors in the district.

Lay Pastor Jhony Jaime who contributed chicken to our meals.

The Agod Memorial Alliance Church members headed by Ptr. Randy Buned in their faithful service for this event.

And to all the our District Workers who participated in this corporate prayer.

May we continue to serve our individual churches, rooted in God's Word and empowered in prayer.

Soli Deo Gloria!

𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺.

The ground may have shaken, but our faith remains unshakable. Over the past few days, the Metro Davao District—led by DMS Joas Revilleza, our District Ministry Team, and our dedicated volunteers—has served as the hands and feet of Jesus, reaching out to those devastated by the recent earthquakes in Malapatan, Jose Abad Santos, T’boli, and General Santos City.

In partnership with the JNO Company, The Pastoral Care Center (PCC), The Jesus Reigns, and the Philippine Bible Society, we mobilized to deliver more than just physical relief, such as grocery packs, water, and medical kits. Our primary mission was to share the transformative hope of Jesus Christ, offering comfort and spiritual encouragement to those navigating the aftermath of this calamity.

We extend our deepest gratitude to CAMACOP, led by Bishop Joseph I. Reyes and represented by Rev. Ermil Sibonga, for your unwavering support and prayers. We are also grateful to DMS Romeo Dela Rosa of DOMA District for his partnership in this effort.

We are profoundly thankful to our national leaders for their steadfast guidance, and to every volunteer, donor, and church member whose sacrificial contributions made this initiative possible.

Above all, we offer our praise to the Author of Life and the Master Planner for His protection over our volunteers and for the success of this relief operation.

The Metro Davao District remains committed to serving God’s people with urgency and compassion. We will continue to be proactive in our outreach, ensuring that the light of hope shines brightest where it is needed most.

Soli Deo Gloria!

Over the past days, our District in partnership with JNO Company, PCC, Jesus Reigns, and the Philippine Bible Society, geared together to facilitate and administer our very own, "Relief Distaster's Operation" which were participated by many volunteers from our district and from the said ministry partners.

This Operation catered to Provinces and Cities who are heavily damaged and ruined by the recent earthquake, making them immobilized in the state of hopelessness.

As we have carried the Hope of Jesus through the said Relief operation which includes the delivery of grocery packs, water gallons, clothing ramages and medical kits, we also have shared God's love that diverts their hopelessness into Living Hope and Salvation.

I can't express my warmest gratitude to the following:

a. To our National Leaders, for giving their head's up and prayer for this initiative headed by Bishop Joseph Reyes.

b. To the PCC, for their grocery packages that was delivered which is headed by LM Sarah Reyes.

c. To all our District Staff and Credential Committee members for accounting all the Financial donations and do the errands and repacking of the groceries.

d. To all the Pastors who have encouraged their Churches to extend their share to our District Calamity Fund. Thank you for interceding with this Activity. Some of our Pastors have been the Frontliners in our Relief Operation doing these voluntary works.

e. To all the Church members who heartily give their portion which are accumulated for the mobilization of the Relief Disasters operation.

f. To all our Ministry partners -i.e. JNO Company, Jesus Reign Movement, Pastoral Care Center and the Philippine Bible Society. Your Hearts ready to help are truly remarkable.

g. and To the Giver of life, the Source of Everything and the Master Planner, we Praise you for the safety of all our volunteers and for making this Relief Operation Possible.

Our District assures that we will continue to serve God's people proactively.

Soli Deo Gloria!

At your service,

-DMS Joas Revilleza
