There are songs that entertain—and there are songs that remind us who we are.

This night was a tribute to our roots, our stories, and our shared identity as Filipinos. Through the timeless music of Ernani Cuenco, the stirring piece Ayokong Ayoko by Rodolfo de Leon, and a heartfelt medley of works by Ryan Cayabyab, we were brought back to the soul of our heritage.

We were especially honored to be graced by the presence of National Artist for Music, Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, whose words reminded us that music is not only to be performed—but to be understood, lived, and shared.
