Community Clean-Up Drive: A Meaningful Contribution to a Cleaner, Safer Community
Today, we had the opportunity to take part in the Community Clean-Up Drive held at the Barangay Central Area of Manay, an initiative aimed at promoting environmental stewardship, strengthening community resilience, and restoring cleanliness in our surroundings, especially after the recent doublet earthquake that affected many residents.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Municipal Councilor Jesus “Joy” L. Mamparo, Jr. of LIKID ng Mandaya for inviting our school and giving our student volunteers the chance to be part of this meaningful advocacy. Your continued efforts to bring the community together and uphold the spirit of bayanihan truly inspire positive action.
Thank you as well to Del Pilar National High School, through the leadership of Principal Josephine A. Mamparo, for supporting the participation of our YES-O Officers, student volunteers, and teacher coordinators. Your guidance ensures that students not only learn inside the classroom but also develop a sense of social responsibility and care for the environment.
This accomplishment reflects the power of collaboration, shared purpose, and community involvement. Together, we continue working toward a cleaner, safer, and more resilient Manay.
