The Alpha Phi Omega – Lambda Nu Chapter and Alumni Chapter successfully held Medikalinga 2025 in Brgy. Ilomavis, Kidapawan City! 💙💛

With the support and active participation of the Kidapawan City Health Office, the locals of Brgy. Ilomavis — a geographically isolated and disadvantaged area — were able to access FREE medical consultations and FREE medicines. Along with the free healthcare services, a sweet surprise welcomed the children of Brgy. Ilomavis — FREE ice cream served to everyone! 🍦✨

A simple yet meaningful way to share care, warmth, and service with the community.

Alpha Phi Omega - Lambda Nu Chapter proudly marked its 26th Anniversary with the theme “Ushering the Next Generation of Lambda Nu Brothers and Sisters in the Next 25 Years!”

More than just a celebration, it was a night overflowing with laughter, nostalgia, and renewed bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood. Alumni and resident members came together in a joyful reunion—bridging generations through stories, fun games, team-building activities, and a shared passion for service.

As the chapter reflected on 26 remarkable years of strength and growth, everyone looked ahead with excitement and hope—ready to carry forward the enduring spirit of Leadership, Friendship, and Service into the next chapter of Lambda Nu’s journey.

The evening was a powerful reminder that Lambda Nu is more than a chapter—it’s a family, a legacy, and a lifelong commitment to serve with heart and purpose. 💙💛

In commemoration of our 26th Founding Anniversary, the Alpha Phi Omega - Lambda Nu Chapter celebrated this milestone through the LNAA Medikalinga Anniversary Service Activity held on September 13, 2026, at the Mintal Comprehensive High School Covered Court, Barangay Mintal, Davao City.

Upholding the fraternity’s enduring principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service, our chapter extended assistance to more than a hundred residents of the local community. The outreach program featured a Lecture Series on Diabetes and Hypertension, Free Medical Consultation and Medicine Distribution, Free Legal Consultation, and a Community Pantry offering fresh, farm-grown vegetables to attendees.

This event stands as a testament to Lambda Nu Chapter’s unwavering commitment to community service and development, as well as our shared vision of ushering in the next generation of brothers and sisters who will continue to uphold and strengthen the proud legacy of Alpha Phi Omega in the years ahead.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Lambda Nu doctors, lawyers, and APO volunteers who generously shared their time, expertise, and dedication. Special recognition is also given to Bro. Gil for the farm produce; University of Mindanao Legal Advocacy Network (ULAN); the Reservist Community Development Group Region XI; UNILAB; the Scouts of Mintal Comprehensive High School; the Administration of Mintal Comprehensive High School; and the City Health Office of Davao City for their invaluable support and partnership.

We are delighted to introduce the newest member of the Department of Biological Sciences and Environmental Studies (DBSES), UP Mindanao, Dr. Maria Fatima Quianzon-Manuel, MD, FPAFP, MHPEd, or simply Doc Pachie.

🎓Educational Background
• Master in Health Professions Education (MHPEd – Professional Track), UP Manila (2025)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD), Davao Medical School Foundation (2011)
• Bachelor of Science in Biology, Major in Ecology, UP Mindanao (2007)
• Certified Family Physician (2016), Diplomate in Family Medicine (2017), Fellow, Philippine Academy of Family Physicians (2023)

Dr. Pachie has published papers in refereed journals focusing on public health, family medicine, and patient care. At DBSES, she will be teaching Histology, Developmental Biology, Physiology, and other medically related courses in the BS Biology program. Her addition to the team will not only strengthen DBSES but also contribute significantly to the university as a whole, especially as UP Mindanao prepares for the opening of its School of Medicine, soon!
