Dyesabel Philippines’ Kadaiyahan: Seatizen Scientists Program team brought the Story Books created by Kadaiyahan Seatizen Scientist Fellows to the community.

Storytelling made the Sama-Bajau Children of Bucana, Davao City understand the scientific data from our research, making them love the ocean and marine species better.

We envision to raise Filipino children with love, passion, and respect for the environment.

Together with us are: Jemuel Villaneuva (Program Head for Environmental Research and Education), Cardiff Burgos (Most Outstanding Seatizen Scientist Awardee), Marvelous Dainty Camilo (Co-founder and Chairperson), Dafna Ligaya Amistad (National Executive Director), Jeru Manuel (Program Head for Sustainable Livelihood), and volunteers.

This recognition highlights the organization's unwavering commitment to community service through its donations, volunteer initiatives, and active youth participation in programs that promote development and civic engagement. TAGUM CITY – MuSEAkahan 2026 officially concluded at Energy Park, leaving behind a powerful message of hope, responsibility, and collective action. Organized as part of Dyesabel Philippines’ advocacy for People, Planet, and the Philippines, the event brought together youth leaders, environmental advocates, cultural stakeholders, community partners, and representatives from across the country for a celebration that transcended entertainment and became a platform for meaningful engagement. Throughout the day, participants exchanged ideas, showcased local heritage, strengthened regional friendships, and reaffirmed their commitment to safeguarding the oceans that connected communities across the Philippines.

As the event drew to a close, the highlights of MuSEAkahan 2026 reflected the spirit and purpose that defined every gathering, performance, dialogue, and community activity. More than a one-day celebration, the initiative served as a reminder that the future of ocean conservation and sustainable development depended on empowered young people who were willing to lead with compassion, innovation, and action.
