For the 4th time, KALAYAG was invited to Union Church of Manila’s Annual Missions Month. We’ve been part of this since 2023, and we’re always grateful to be welcomed back.

Daghang salamat to everyone who visited our booth, stopped to talk, and took time to learn more about what we do.

And to Union Church of Manila, thank you for your continued support and partnership through the years. We truly appreciate you walking with us.

Our Peggeynaweey staff recently went through leadership training, program planning, and child protection policy training—equipping them to serve our tribal communities with greater care, excellence, and accountability.

Peggeynaweey, in partnership with Compassion International, has been walking alongside children and families in Marilog District and Bukidnon. Today, our program serves around 300 families, under the leadership of our Project Director, Ate Am.

Our volunteer staff are also SIMKRIS workers who faithfully monitor and journey with each participant and their families on the ground.

We are grateful for people who continue to serve faithfully—learning, growing, and making sure that every child and family entrusted to us is cared for well.

Grateful for a meaningful time in Maine! 🍂

We thank Ryan and Kathrin Hastey of Emmanuel Baptist Church for warmly hosting and welcoming us to their family.

Through a house meeting and an opportunity to share during their Sunday service, we were able to tell the story of what God is doing through KALAYAG in Mindanao and encourage young people to consider “voluntouring” as a way to serve and make a difference.

We are deeply grateful for the prayers, encouragement, support, and new relationships God has opened for us.

From Mindanao to Maine, God continues to connect people, build relationships, and create opportunities to serve together. 🙏

We’ve just wrapped up our meetings here in Chattanooga, and we’re leaving with grateful hearts. 💛

God is doing something—and He is truly stretching us in ways that challenge us, grow us, and remind us to trust Him even more.

At Kalayag, we deeply value relationships and partnerships. We are so blessed by the new connections God has allowed us to make, and we love being around people who share the same heart for serving communities and making a difference.

We’re excited about what these new relationships may lead to and the projects we hope to work on together in the near future—projects that will ultimately benefit the communities we serve in Mindanao.

We may not see the whole picture yet, but we can see God connecting the dots.

So for now, we simply want to listen, trust, and obey where He leads. 🙏
