🚑 MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team Medical Standby 🚑

Under the leadership of Punong Barangay Rey V. Ototan and BDRRMC Co-Chair Kgwd. Nil Dwight Mitra, the MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team provided medical standby during the Drag Extravaganza held on August 6 at 7:00 PM, in line with the Araw ng Mandug Celebration.

Our Disaster Response Vehicle (DRV) and dedicated volunteer responders were strategically deployed to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants, performers, and spectators throughout the event.

MSRAT remains committed to supporting community activities by providing prompt emergency medical assistance and ensuring a safe and successful celebration for everyone.

🚒 MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team Response 🚒

Under the leadership of Punong Barangay Rey V. Ototan and BDRRMC Co-Chair Kgwd. Nil Dwight Mitra, the MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team responded to a reported grass fire at Ciudades Business Park, Brgy. Mandug.

The incident was reported at 10:40 AM, with our responders arriving on scene at 10:44 AM. Our Fire Truck and Disaster Response Vehicle (DRV) were immediately dispatched, working in coordination with the Brgy. Indangan Fire Engine, Brgy. Tigatto Fire Engine, and BFP Buhangin to contain and monitor the situation. The responding units completed operations and pulled out at 11:01 AM.

The affected area was designated as the venue for the Back-to-Back Concert in line with the Araw ng Mandug Celebration, making the immediate response essential to ensure the safety of the venue and the public. The incident was reported by the event producer.

🚨 MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team Response 🚨

Under the leadership of Punong Barangay Rey V. Ototan and BDRRMC Co-Chair Kgwd. Nil Dwight Mitra, the MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team responded to a medical case involving food poisoning on august 1 at 2:48 PM.

Our Disaster Response Vehicle (DRV) was immediately dispatched to Sitio Sison Relocation, Brgy. Mandug to provide emergency medical assistance.

The patient, a 62-year-old female, was assessed and given the necessary pre-hospital care before being transported to Davao Medical School Foundation (DMSF) Hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.

Under the leadership of Punong Barangay Rey V. Ototan and BDRRMC Co-Chair Kgwd. Nil Dwight Mitra, the MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team responded to a self-accident on August 4 at 8:28 AM in Ciudades, Brgy. Indangan, Davao City.

Our Disaster Response Vehicle (DRV) was immediately dispatched to the scene to provide emergency medical assistance.

The patient, a 28-year-old female, was assessed and provided with the necessary pre-hospital care before being transported to San Pedro Hospital for further medical evaluation and treatment.

🚒 MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team Response 🚒

Under the leadership of Punong Barangay Rey V. Ototan and BDRRMC Co-Chair Kgwd. Nil Dwight Mitra, the MSRAT Mandug Search and Rescue Action Team responded to a fire alarm in coordination with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Buhangin on July 27.

Our Fire Truck and Disaster Response Vehicle (DRV) were dispatched at 11:50 PM to Panlilio Street, Phase 2 DDF Village, Brgy. Mandug.

Our operatives arrived at the target area at 12:14 AM, where the incident was declared a post-fire response, as the fire was already extinguished upon arrival. The team then conducted post-incident assessment and ensured that the area was safe from any remaining hazards.

The responding units officially pulled out at 1:04 AM after completing the necessary post-incident operations.

📢 OFFICIAL UPDATE | BARANGAY MANDUG BDRRMO

We would like to inform the Office of the City Mayor and the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) that our Disaster Response Vehicle (DRV) is being used with utmost responsibility and purpose for the welfare of our people.

Last Sunday, our team responded to a humanitarian call in DAPECOL. We retrieved and transported a deceased resident, as the bereaved family had no financial means to bring their loved one home. We stood by them in their deepest sorrow because no one else could.

For us, serving our community goes beyond disasters—it also means extending mercy and help to those who have nothing. We assure everyone that our equipment is used for the right reasons, for the right people, and with a sincere heart.
