The 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 for Persons with Down Syndrome, Inc. proudly brings to life “𝐃𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐲” a meaningful initiative dedicated to supporting families through awareness, guidance, and compassionate eye care. 💙💛

With the insightful talk of Dr. 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗔. 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗹𝗮𝗻, 𝗢𝗗 (Optometrist), families and participants were guided on the importance of proper eye care, early detection, and continuous support for Persons with Down Syndrome. 👀

Together with families and partners, the event became a powerful expression of inclusion, care, and community highlighting the importance of accessible and inclusive vision support for every child.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘀 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 for forging this meaningful partnership, allowing our members to avail of free eye check-ups at their clinic, while extending generous discounts to their family members, both valid for one year throughout 2026.

What a beautiful way to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 💙💛

Today, we celebrate not just inclusion—but history in the making.

Kevin, a young athlete with Down Syndrome, proudly finished the IronKids Philippines Aquathlon on March 21, 2026—becoming the first person with Down Syndrome in Davao City and in Mindanao to achieve this incredible milestone.

Watching you push through every step of the race was deeply moving. Your determination spoke volumes—but what touched our hearts even more was your joy. You were the only one smiling from start to finish, waving to every cheerer and encourager along the way. You didn’t just complete the race—you uplifted everyone who witnessed it.

You are more than an inspiration, Kevin—you are a powerful reminder of what is possible when courage meets heart.

And to your incredible parents, Keith and Cheryl—your unwavering love and belief shine through Kevin’s achievement. You are a beacon of hope for all parents: never lose hope. Focus on the abilities, the strengths, and the limitless potential within every child.
