The Indigenous Music Summit became a reality because there were partners who did more than simply say yes—they believed in the vision and fully committed themselves to making it happen.
iEmergence Philippines is deeply and sincerely grateful to the Barangay Calinan Council, Sangguniang Kabataan Council, and the Datu Abeng Tribal Council of Barangay Calinan-Poblacion for embracing the concept of the summit from the very beginning and bringing the Tagabawa, Obu-Manuvu, Ata, and Bagobo Klata communities together in your barangay to celebrate and honor their music.
Your partnership was crucial. Your commitment gave the vision the strength to move from an idea into a meaningful gathering where Indigenous music, stories, identity, and culture could take center stage.
To our artists—Suwod Ed, Ed Glenn, Clyde, Joshua Mundo, Anak tu Manama, Ohin Band, and the Kolliga Kollina Tagunggua Ensemble—and to our host, Jelah, thank you for sharing your voices and artistry and for carrying the stories of Indigenous communities through music.
