For three consecutive years, Sangguniang Kabataan ng Barangay Gatungan has once again been nominated for Outstanding Sangguniang Kabataan in Davao City - Small Barangay. We are grateful for the recognition, but even more grateful for the opportunity to serve. As this term comes to an end, we know we've left something meaningful behind. ๐Ÿ’™

We believe that sports play a vital role in shaping disciplined, resilient, and confident young individuals. By providing essential sports equipment, we hope to encourage every student to participate, showcase their talents, strengthen teamwork, and embrace the values of sportsmanship both on and off the playing field.

In compliance with Republic Act No. 10742, otherwise known as the Sangguniang Kabataan Reform Act of 2015, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Gatungan successfully conducted its 2nd Quarter Katipunan ng Kabataan Assembly on May 31, 2026.

The assembly served as a platform to strengthen transparency, accountability, and youth participation through the presentation of the Accomplishment Report for the 3rd and 4th Quarters of 2025, discussion of the 2026 Calendar of Activities, and an Open Forum, where members of the Katipunan ng Kabataan were encouraged to share their ideas, concerns, and recommendations for future youth programs and initiatives.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all the KK members who actively participated and contributed to the success of the assembly. Together, let us continue building a more empowered, engaged, and responsive youth community.

From the vibrant Night Market, electrifying Live Band Performances, exciting Carnival Rides and Games, competitive Basketball and Volleyball Tournaments, memorable Functionaries' Night, heartwarming Sayawitan, the elegance and empowerment showcased in Hiyas ng Gatungan 2026, and the meaningful Government Caravan spearheaded by the City Mayor's Office and partner agenciesโ€”each event reflected the strength and unity of our community.
