The evening reflected the spirit of unity and service as members gathered to strengthen camaraderie, share ideas, and continue fostering impactful initiatives for the community.

The Rotary Club of Central Davao, in partnership with RC North Davao and RSCND–Preminence, successfully distributed ceramic water filters to 50 households in Sitio Siao, Barangay Tamugan during the Project H.E.A.R.T.S. outreach last weekend. 💙💧

This initiative aimed to provide families with access to safer and cleaner drinking water, helping promote better health and sanitation within the community. Through the collective efforts of the participating clubs, volunteers, and partner organizations, the project brought meaningful support and hope to the residents of Sitio Siao.

Together, we continue creating healthier communities, one family at a time. 🌱

PROJECT H.E.A.R.T.S. — Health, Environment, Agriculture, Resources, Talents, and Sustainable Living — was successfully held yesterday, May 9, 2026, at Barangay Tamugan Hall through the efforts of the Rotary Club of North Davao (RCND) and Rotary Satellite Club of North Davao – Preminence (RSCND–Preminence), in partnership with Rotary Club of Central Davao, JCI Greater Davao, CRAFT College of Mindanao Inc., DSWD, Barangay Tamugan, SEEDS Project, PHIC, and community partners. Anchored on the call to “Unite for Good,” the initiative brought together organizations and volunteers committed to serving and uplifting the community through meaningful and sustainable programs.

The outreach provided free medical services including tuli and check-up, distribution of ceramic water filters, and organic farming and seeds support to families in Barangay Tamugan. More than delivering immediate assistance, Project H.E.A.R.T.S. aimed to create lasting impact by promoting health, sustainability, and stronger community partnerships for a better tomorrow. 💙🌱

The 12th Area Coordination Meeting (ACOM) was successfully conducted yesterday May 7, 2026, at RC North Clubhouse, with AREA 2B serving as the host. The gathering brought together leaders, coordinators, and committed servants to strengthen coordination, align ongoing initiatives, discuss upcoming activities, and further deepen collaboration in service, including preparations for the upcoming Rotary Year 2026–2027. Through meaningful discussions and fellowship, participants were able to exchange ideas, share updates, and encourage one another in pursuing a shared mission rooted in faith, excellence, and compassion.

The Rotary Club of Central Davao successfully conducted its 12th Regular Meeting last April 27, 2026 at Harana, F. Torres Street, Davao City—bringing together fellowship, learning, and celebration in one meaningful evening.

We were also honored to have with us Ma’am Kristina Libang from the Satellite Club of the Rotary Club of North Davao Preminense, who is also from CRAFT College of Mindanao, Inc., and who shared insights on the launching of the Ceramic Water Filter Distribution Program and the Adopt-a-Scholar Campaign.
