What a joy to witness what God is doing!

Last Saturday was such a special day as two Firestarters gatherings took place, and by God's grace, we are excited to officially welcome Firestarters – Barpa to the family!

Praise God! We are expanding! We were blessed to have 23 children in attendance, together with 6 ates and kuyas serving the ministry. All glory belongs to God!

Last Saturday, Ate Mitch shared an encouragement:

"No matter how difficult or chaotic life may be, let us keep our eyes fixed on the Lord because He is always good. Instead of dwelling on the negative, let us choose to trust Him and see His goodness in every season."

We also had our small group, where the kids shared their struggles and victories while encouraging one another in faith.

May God continue to raise this generation for His glory!🔥

Yesterday, Kuya Joey talked about:

Colossians 3:2
"Set your minds on heavenly things, not on earthly things."

"Hunahunaa ang mga butang langitnon, dili ang yutan-on."

These days, social media, Roblox, TikTok, YouTube, and other forms of entertainment distract us from what truly matters. It is important that we are reminded that the Bible teaches us to keep our hearts aligned with Him and our attention focused on Him and His Word.

Praise the Lord!

During our Saturday gathering, Kuya James shared a message titled "Honor" from Exodus 20:12. He reminded us that honoring God begins with honoring the people He has placed in our lives, especially our parents. As we love, obey, and respect them, we reflect our love for God and live out His Word.

Praise God, last Saturday we were able to move to a new place closer to the community, to make the Ministry more accessible, practical, and safer for these youngsters! We started off with icebreakers and a getting to know each other as a welcoming party.

During our last Saturday gathering in June, Kuya Rex shared a lesson titled "Asking Without Hesitation" from Matthew 7: 7-8. The Bible taught us that we should keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking because God wants us to keep trusting Him and never give up in prayer. Even if we don't receive an answer right away, we should continue praying with faith, knowing that God listens to His children, and will always do what is best for us.

- Last Saturday, ate Mary Jane shared a simple message about the good shepherd. Teaching the kids that God is our personal shepherd and personal God. Reminding them to do not be afraid because the good shepherd is always with us. And to continue to trust Him and follow Him wherever He leads.

I am the good shepherd, the good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Yesterday, Firestarters began with praise and worship led by Kuya James. Ate Ines shared God's Word on the topic of pride and humility, drawing lessons from King Nebuchadnezzar's story in Daniel 4:28–36. We learned how Scripture warns against pride and calls us to live with humility before God.

Our memory verse was James 4:6: “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”

May we continue to grow in humility and rely on God's grace each day.

“God Our Strength | Ang Dios ang Atong Kusog”

Kuya Rex shared a simple but powerful message for the kids about who God is and how He strengthens those who trust in Him. Isaiah 40:28-31 reminds us that God never grows tired or weak. Even when we feel tired, sad, or overwhelmed, the Lord gives new strength to those who trust and wait on Him. After the message, he prayed for the children, asking God to guide them daily, protect them, and fill their hearts with faith, courage, and strength as they continue to grow in Him.

“The Power of Words | Ang Gahum sa Pulong”

Ate Mitch shared about the power of words and how our words can either encourage others or bring them down. Proverbs 18:21 and James 3 remind us to be careful with what we say because our words reflect what is in our hearts. Let us always choose words that glorify God and uplift others. 🔥

Worship is not about just singing or playing instruments. It is our lifestyle of serving God. Be it cleaning the church, talking to His people, or even giving tithes and offering. Worship is a lifestyle, not just a singing event, and should be done in Spirit and in Truth (way of life)

"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth"
