𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗣𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🌱

The Davao Board of Realtors Foundation, Inc. (DBRFI) successfully conducted its Tree Planting Activity on April 24, 2026, as part of its continued commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement.

The activity was led by DBRFI President 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗜𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗴, together with the Past Presidents, Board of Trustees 2026, and members, in cooperation with the Barangay Office of Lasang, Tambongon Fisherfolk Association (TAMFIAS) headed by President 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗽𝗶, and Barangay Chairman 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗼-𝗮𝗴.

A total of 150 mangrove seedlings were planted at Purok Libra, Tambongon, Barangay Lasang, Davao City, contributing to the restoration and protection of the coastal ecosystem.

As part of the activity, participants also engaged in an educational learning session on the importance of mangroves. The discussion highlighted how mangroves serve as natural coastal defenses against storm surges, provide vital habitats for marine life, and help improve water quality.

This initiative reflects DBRFI’s continued dedication to environmental sustainability and its ongoing efforts to contribute positively to the community.

As the saying goes, “The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now.” 🌿

The DBRFI Team recently paid a courtesy visit on April 23, 2026, to the Regional Director of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region XI, Regional Director 𝗥𝗮𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗥. 𝗔𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀.

The delegation was led by 𝗗𝗕𝗥𝗙𝗜 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗶𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗻𝗮 𝗜𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗴, together with Vice President for Internal Affairs Pinky Rose Tumanda, Vice President for External Affairs Alma Apolonio, Past President Roy Rabor, and members of the 2026 Board of Trustees—Romulo Ablas, Ferlaine Magno, Maria Solidad Millomeda, and Roger Geonzon.

The meeting provided a valuable platform to further strengthen institutional collaboration, reaffirm shared commitments, and explore initiatives that advance professional excellence and organizational development.
