The Physical Therapy Department of San Pedro College, together with one of our affiliated centersโ€”Kids Advanced Therapy Center (KATC)โ€”took part in the Happy Walk on February 15, 2025, to honor National Down Syndrome Awareness Month. This event highlights the importance of raising awareness and promoting inclusion for individuals with Down syndrome.

Physical therapists play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those with Down syndrome, particularly by improving posture, mobility, and overall physical function. Their expertise in rehabilitation helps individuals with Down syndrome achieve greater independence and lead fulfilling lives.

We are proud to support this important cause and continue advocating for individuals with special needs. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ
