📚 Teacher Training Highlights Day 2 & Day 3 ✨

As we prepare for the opening of School Year 2026–2027, our dedicated teachers continue to engage in meaningful learning and professional development activities.

During Day 2, participants explored Dynamic and Cooperative Teaching Strategies, gaining valuable insights and sharing best practices to create more engaging, interactive, and learner-centered classrooms.

On Day 3, the focus shifted to Classroom Management and Assessment, where teachers strengthened their skills in fostering positive learning environments and implementing effective assessment practices to support student growth and achievement.

We are proud of our educators' commitment to continuous learning and excellence in teaching. Their dedication ensures that our learners will receive quality education and meaningful learning experiences in the coming school year.

We employ a unique approach that is always geared towards leadership now and in the future:

❤️ Though we adhere 100% to Dept Ed's competencies and guidelines, we've added our own Shalom Way in order to prioritize a system that promotes leadership.

❤️ We're a small school but our advocacy is much bigger than our size. We've structured our merit system to reflect both academic goals AND character trait goals (independence, leadership, social skills, etc.).

❤️ Our small teacher-to-student ratio allows individual skills and talent to shine for the community to see.

What a difference a couple of weeks can make! 🥰

Through your faithful prayers, tireless physical efforts, and overwhelming love, Shalom Academy has recovered beautifully from the recent flash flood. God has truly turned our trial into a testimony. 🙏

As we prepare to welcome our learners back in just two weeks, we want to extend a special, heartfelt thank you to one of our long-time partners: Davao Futurebright Enterprises

They stepped up for our community by approving a highly flexible payment plan, ensuring our campus is fully equipped with new laptops and essential technology right on time.
