LAW APTITUDE EXAMINATION (LAE) 2026
EXAM DAY REMINDERS

The Law Aptitude Examination (LAE) 2026 will be held onsite on 1 March 2026 in UP Diliman, UP Iloilo, Baguio City, Cagayan de Oro City, Cebu City, Davao City, Naga City, and Zamboanga City. Applicants eligible to take the LAE will receive their test permits via email. Requests to change exam sessions (from AM to PM and vice versa) will not be entertained.

Eligible applicants are reminded to bring the following on exam day:

1) PRINTED and SIGNED copy of the test permit (A4-sized paper); printing of test permits in the testing venues will not be allowed;
2) Valid government-issued ID;
3) Laptop and charger; and
4) Pen or pencil

Applicants are also advised to ensure that the Safe Exam Browser (SEB) is installed on their laptops before going to the testing centers.

Applicants assigned to UP Diliman are further advised to refer to the attached updated map indicating the traffic flow, open portals, and parking spaces available for the applicants. The map is also posted in the LAE portal. Buildings in UP Diliman, which are used as testing centers, are off-limits to everyone except to the applicants and authorized LAE personnel.

Applicants are reminded that the sharing of LAE exam questions or topics in any manner and through any medium shall be deemed as intellectual dishonesty and shall result in a perpetual disqualification from admission, in addition to legal action.

The Association of Pre-Law Students successfully held its 1st General Assembly for the 2nd Semester of the Academic Year of 2025-2026 last January 16, 2026.

The meeting highlighted the organization's future semestral projects and discussions, while motivating member's ability to build rapport and maintain familiarity with one another through exciting games and activities.

The 𝐔𝐏 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐫𝐞-𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, alongside fellow constituents, congratulates graduating members in this Class of 2025 for their grit, perseverance, and heart they exemplified throughout their years in the university, manifesting in the form of honors they’ve received.

As you now take the leap forward outside the comforts of our campus, may the heart of your education as Iskolar ng Bayan never be forgotten: to serve the Filipino people. In our society, burdened by the troubles of inequality, marginalization, and fear, your future entry into the legal field should not merely be as cold professionals, but as people of conscience.

Atom Araullo reminds us: “Begin where the people are”. Do not fall into the trap of placing profit over people, and convenience above compassion, as tempting as it might be. Instead, with courage, walk beside the marginalized, question injustice with burning fervor, acting with empathy rooted in truth for the people and by the people.

Last 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮, the 𝗨𝗣 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗲-𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, in partnership with the 𝗥𝗠𝗖-𝗦𝗢𝗟 𝗟𝗮𝘄 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀, successfully held the 𝙑𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙧’𝙨 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙪𝙢 at the UP Mindanao Audio Visual Room. This initiative aimed to empower first-time voters with the knowledge and confidence to make informed choices at the polls.

From breaking down the voting process to knowing your rights and responsibilities, participants gained practical insights from legal experts and got the chance to ask their burning questions in an open forum.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in this meaningful conversation on civic duty and democratic participation.
