Bruce and Wayne got neutered on Gaby’s birthday, Jan 23rd! These are the 2 kittens that John and I brought to the vet for initial vaccination when we visited Philippines in November last year.

Max is scheduled for neutering on June 25. This needed to happen to prevent any future unwanted kitten litters with his siblings (ewww...) or other potential female strays or adoptees. This is a massive milestone for Gaby's Cat Haven. There are pathways for neutering and spaying that do not require all of this prep work. We have found a clinic that will do same-day neutering/spaying and rabies shots without all of the required immunizations that Max received. We are planning an alley cat spay and neuter drive when we visit the Philippines in November. We will post updates regarding this shortly.

Feeding the Forgotten: A Day with Gaby’s Cat Haven

Every day, thanks to your generosity, Auntie Joy and our small team of volunteers head into the streets of Juliville in Davao City with food, water, and compassion.

This week, we were able to feed over 25 stray cats — many of them regulars who now come running when they hear our footsteps. Some are kittens abandoned too early. Others are older cats bearing the quiet weight of a hard life. All of them depend on these daily feedings to survive.

Your donations make this possible.
Each can of food, each bottle of clean water, and each moment of care we give is in honor of Gabriela “Gaby” Ridings, whose love for stray cats continues to inspire everything we do.

We are:
• Feeding daily in Juliville and surrounding blocks
• Providing medicine for minor wounds and eye infections
• Preparing for a spay/neuter drive in the coming months

What we need now:
• More wet and dry food
• Deworming medicine and flea treatments
• Emergency vet funds for injured or sick strays
• Support for Max’s neutering (scheduled for June!)
