FREEDOM BEGINS WITH KNOWING OUR STORY

Today, the boys of Balay Pasilungan celebrated Philippine Independence Day by learning about the meaning of freedom, creating their own Philippine flags, participating in role-playing activities about our nation’s heroes, and enjoying a movie marathon together.

As they colored the flag and shared stories of courage, they were reminded that freedom is not only a gift from the past—it is also a responsibility to build a better future.

FROM VOLUNTEER TO CHANGE-MAKER

Day 2 of GO! Volunteer Expo 2026 at SM City Davao was a powerful reminder that one volunteer can make a lasting difference.

Our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Miraflor Masayon, our volunteer, for sharing her inspiring journey during the NGO Talk and showing how volunteering transforms not only lives but also the volunteers themselves.

We are equally proud of our BaPas Boys for their vibrant cultural presentation, confidently sharing their talents and representing the resilience and hope of the children we serve.

For two meaningful days, we met passionate individuals, connected with fellow advocates, and welcomed new friends to our mission of protecting and empowering children.

Thank you to iVolunteer Philippines, partners, volunteers and everyone who visited our booth. Together, we are building a community where compassion becomes action.

The Expo may be over, but the opportunity to make a difference continues.

Today, the Foundation of Balay Pasilungan joins JJT Psychological Services in celebrating the birthday of its founder, Dr. Jerson John Trocio, whose passion, compassion, and dedication have brought healing and hope to countless lives.

For the past four years, JJT Psychological Services has been a valued partner of Balay Pasilungan, helping our children heal from trauma, build resilience, and discover their potential. Through your leadership and commitment to mental health and child welfare, you have helped transform our shelter into a place where healing truly happens.

As we also celebrate the 7th Anniversary of JJT Psychological Services, we thank you for the vision that started it all and the lives that continue to be changed because of it.

BAPAS Safeguarding Camp: Together We Shine!

A glimpse into our incredible SMILE Adventure Camp, where our BAPAS children learned, played, and grew together in an environment rooted in safety, friendship, teamwork, and kindness.

From navigating the "Safe vs. Not Safe" interactive games on the sand to sharing stories around the evening beach bonfire, every moment was designed to empower our kids and protect their futures.
