𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒 | 𝐀𝐌𝐘𝐀'𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

The 𝐀𝐥-𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐥𝐢𝐦 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 (𝐀𝐌𝐘𝐀) recently gathered for an evening that was much more than just a dinner. It was a 𝒀𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉’𝒔 𝑵𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 dedicated to the core of our organization, a 𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐭-𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 gathering focused on reflection, growth, and the beautiful renewal of our shared commitment to service and unity.

The evening provided a sacred space for honest conversation. We revisited the experiences of the previous activities conducted and involvements, sharing insights that moved us and aspirations that drive us. With open hearts, the youth looked back on our milestones not just to celebrate, but to refine our vision for uplifting the Ummah and serving our community with even greater excellence.

This gathering also served as a moment of heartfelt recognition for the dedicated 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞, whose tireless efforts, teamwork, and commitment brought each initiative to life. Their unwavering dedication behind the scenes laid the foundation for the meaningful impact experienced throughout the year.

The organization also shares its heartfelt appreciation to the President, 𝐀𝐝𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐌. 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐬, for his leadership, guidance, and steadfast commitment in leading the youth throughout the year’s activities. His steadfast leadership and guidance were celebrated as the steady compass for the unity and collaboration that empowered the youth to step forward as active contributors to the 𝙅𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙖.

The night concluded with fun and interactive games, shared laughter, and exciting giveaways, strengthening bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood and ending the evening with joy, gratitude, and renewed motivation.

As we move forward, we hold onto the command of 𝑨𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒉 (سبحانه و تعالى):

وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ

تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنكُم

𝐄𝐢𝐝 𝐚𝐥-𝐅𝐢𝐭𝐫 𝐚𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐀𝐧 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐥-𝐌𝐮𝐚𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐧

Eid al-Fitr is often framed as a conclusion, a festive endpoint to a month of restraint, devotion, and heightened awareness. But to reduce it to a mere closing ceremony is to overlook its deeper function. Eid is not an end; it is a transition. It marks the point where the private disciplines of Ramadan are meant to be carried forward into public life.

Throughout Ramadan, individuals recalibrate. Time is reorganized around prayer, consumption is controlled, and intentions are refined. More importantly, there is a visible shift in social behavior, greater patience, increased generosity, and a renewed attentiveness to others. These are not temporary states designed to expire with the sighting of the new moon. They are benchmarks. Standards.

From an organizational and community perspective, Ramadan also reveals something critical: capacity. It shows what is possible when people move with shared intention. Attendance increases, participation becomes more consistent, and collective efforts gain momentum. The challenge now is sustainability. Can the same level of commitment be maintained beyond Ramadan? Can systems be built to support consistency rather than seasonal spikes?

Eid, then, should be understood as a checkpoint. It is an opportunity to assess what has been developed individually and collectively, and to ask whether these gains will be preserved or gradually diminished. The values emphasized over the past month, discipline, sincerity, and service, require structure to endure. Without deliberate effort, they risk becoming memories rather than practices.

For 𝘼𝙡-𝙈𝙪𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙣, this moment is both reflective and directive. It is a time to acknowledge the strength of the community that emerged during Ramadan, and to translate that strength into long-term action. The goal is not to replicate Ramadan in form, but to sustain its substance.

As we move forward from this point, we do so with a clearer sense of responsibility, towards our faith, our roles, and the communities we serve.

Eid Mubārak from all of us at 𝘼𝙡-𝙈𝙪𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙪𝙣. May this day be received with gratitude, and what follows be carried with purpose.

𝐄𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐤𝐮𝐦 𝐌𝐮𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐤!

In every flicker of light, there is guidance. In every moment of stillness, there is faith. Like a lighthouse watching over the sea, may the light of 𝙍𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙖𝙣 stay with us guiding, protecting, and bringing us back to what truly matters. Draped in colors that echo both our mosque and the beacon of a lighthouse, we celebrate not just the end of Ramadan, but the نور (light) it has kindled within us.

May we continue to shine for one another softly, sincerely, and always towards what is good. ✨
